Confusion for mind control and pvp
They lose their lock on actual opponents and can attack teammates. We have confused heroes to get them to help us (in fun) before.
Its a very good power and if nothing else removes a player from combat for a time

About 2 seconds, for someone who knows what's happened to them. Basically, when you're confused you automatically target one of your allies, your opponents come up with BLUE names when you target them and your allies come up with orange names. Tab selecting will cycle (I think) through everyone, no matter if blue or orange, and you can attack everyone.
It actually works better if you use it on trollers or MMs pets, since they don't have intelligence to retarget and they keep bashing at their master. It's a double bonus as well, since when the pet kills the master, the pet dies too!

MMs pets have resist to confuse if the MM is nearby/not running PFF from that inherent power they get, I think.
And the duration doesn't matter. You can still target AND attack the enemy, you just have to be very careful about the names you click and attack.
As per my Henchmen Powers Guide you were probably fighting against a Ninja or Mercs Mastermind.
Hit Robots or Undead with a confuse and we'll be scuppered (and may have to unsummon our henches for safety).
Thx for all the responses
Won't help much that I could use it on controller/mastermind pets cause controllers get there pets after lvl 30 which is a touch late for Sirens Call, and technically MM are on my side (course villains being all underhand couldn't say for definite).
Funny idea popping into my head about longbow warden pets......
But extremely interesting nonetheless, can't wait to give it a try, just need to use it on dim-witted/new players for hilarious fun
thx
confusing a spectral terror is awesome btw, thats a sub lvl 30 power

Being confused next to allied players brings a wicked grin to my face .
I'm too big a wuss to do something about it though .
Confusion worked a charm on me once in Siren's Call. I knew I'd been confused, but it didn't quite click that the person I AS and killed could be a Stalker. He was. I'm pretty dim anyhow, but in the heat of combat at worst Confusion can buy you a few seconds. I also Crane Kicked a teamate on a TF after a CoT mage confused me because I was using autotarget

Ash/Tar Corruptor

@The Smoking Demon
I confuse lots of people in Sirens, best one was on a blaster just as he hit build up and he smacked the defender next to him.
Not in PVP but i was on the respec the other day, Gandrol had just done a fulcrum shift on me, a Succubus confused me, I told everyone to stay back but needless to say I wasnt listend to then a couple of seconds later my fulcrum shifted energy transfer (with nigh on full fury) one shotted gandrol for about 1600 pts. It was quite amusing

Haha, he could just have listened to you .
What effect does the power confusion from the mind control set have on other players?
Bit much to hope they lose control and start attacking other players but would be nice to know cause I'm building a dom just for Sirens call.
