I had several, none of them were worth the bother of accepting
If I see a "SG-less" female character (most often with a cool name lol) I'll always ask if they want to join our SG. But it's always a very personal "if you're looking" type message, I hope that isn't considered bad...
I don't mind people randomly asking if I want to join a SG at all, but I HATE having that blind SG invite box just pop up on my screen from some random person.
Why would I want to join a SG that doesn't even ask if I want to join or even speak to me first?
Starting out with bad manners isn't a good way to recruit hehe

Only bad if they're already in an SG and you're pestering them to leave I think

Yeah, get the same problem on Union. I'm getting more annoyed by the constant growing of Arena Spam
The only time I've seen mass SG spamming was when I was in Mercy, partly because a lot of SG's go there to try and snap up as many people new to the game as possible
Ive seen a lot of SG spamming in Mercy, but have never had any invites on any of my COV alts (except for the one I tookup).
one of the things that bugs me about these discussions,is that i rarely hear of any one joining an s g and explaining to the person who invited the pros an cons of blind invites.
secondly the newbies , maybe a 14 year old kid or somene on his 1st internet game and may have no idea that hes , she is causing offence
yet a fair majority of you are only to keen to just condemn them.
thirdly all said an done these people are only using the tools availible within a game which they have paid for and indeed subscribe to, the same as you.
some give an take is required both sides of the fence
at this point i have to agree that no matter what you say to some people in any given situation , there are times when ignore and petition are best options
made a new toon yesterday and entered mercy and poped to the arbiter to level up and there was a guy stood there and he kept inviting me constantly .. even followed me out of the fort STILL inviting me to his SG .. think i got around 20 or so sg invites till i just put him on ignore.

Of late I've been inviting a number random of people into our SG. However I do outline the details of the SG first (cut and pasted from notepad as its pretty lengthy :P ).
I would only send a blind SG invite to people I know already followed by, "join me scumbag!" ^_^

Devastation are always on the look out for fresh new people to join.. we had to recently create Devastation Elite to stick all our 40's in because our SG was full..
I've never blind invited to the SG it creates more problems that good.
I look for the right kind of people to join... people who will register on our forums, use our voice server we provide and more importantly get involved in the community.
If you just invite randoms.. you SG gets full of people who quite frankly dont give as [censored]
I am not asking why people invite random people to thair SG, nor am I complaining. I am just trying to get a feel for how common they are. I have received a lot of them, and while they almost stopped over the holyday season, I am getting more of them again now.
And not just from team members, or when I out in the open, but also when I am inside a mission by my self.
