The store uses an in-game interface, and its integrated with the character creator and other parts of the UI (allowing you to buy things you don't have unlocked). Other than that, there's a button to launch it from within the game. Beyond that, you should see for yourself to get an unvarnished first impression.

Or pictures would be better, yes pictures to show us what to do so we don't have to actually do anything but button mash. -

Oddly, both links are to eu.plaync.com/eu sites, even coming from a US IP address. As soon as I click the Merchandise link it opens an EU page.
I haven't seen the Blue Statesman symbol shirt in ages, nor have I seen the Maroon (?) Arachnos symbol shirt. I think the last time I saw them was at either a HeroCon or one of the early M&G's in either Austin or Milipitas.
They may have a few still around somewhere that might be given out at M&G's or similar, but I don't think they've had any of those printed since the initial runs. -

Ok I fixed it.
CoH dev's need to learn how to program without affecting windows.
This was caused due to my font size in WINDOWS beign 140%.
Now I can go blind faster but my CoH will run, yay!
Don't blame the CoH programmers, blame the poor scaling on the people that wrote the API. -

I think it depends on your state. If you're in a state where they have a physical presence (CA and TX?) then yes. Otherwise, no. I know the boosters have cost me exactly $9.99 and I live in NY.
As for the taxes, I think it's CA, TX and WA only. Not certain about Washington though. I do know Texas (Tax us) and California residents are hit with sales tax. -

Going Rogue Item pack and GvE packs are difficult to check for unless you know you didn't purchase the box of GvE or you didn't purchase the GR Complete Collection. GvE gave the Jump Pack and Pocket D teleporter. GR gave the Alpha and Omega auras and costumes as well as the Shadowy Presence power. Of course, you can only use that pack if you purchased the digital download of GR since it's included in the GR Complete Collection.

No, I get your point precisely. My point stands. Free players aren't subscribed. The free game is there to encourage people to subscribe, or alternatively go ala carte as a Premium player. To the extent that free accounts and premium accounts are missing features that would encourage them to subscribe, that is because they are missing features that would encourage them to subscribe.
We will lose people who say "I would pay to have more if I was given more for free, but since I'm not given enough for free I won't pay for what I want" and frankly, that's a good thing.

I'd like to think that Lord Recluse is too major a character to have his Praetorian counterpart simply killed off. I know the devs said he's dead, but that may be a red herring to keep us quiet.

Perhaps while Cole was busy guzzling the Wells waters, a few drops landed on Richters corpse/mortally wounded body. Cole /em evillaughs and demolishes the island. However those drops of godjuice had revived Richter. He survived the islands destruction and was floating about in the sea. He picked up by the lackey mentioned in Recluses bio on the CoH website. Rather than kill the lackey, he thanks him and warns that Cole has gone loopy. Since then Richter has watched Cole rise to power, beat Hami, and essentially conquer the (now much smaller) world, and is now biding his time, waiting for the right moment to strike. I think Richter may yet have a part to play in Coles downfall.

If I remember correctly, CC companies charge vendors for chargebacks, even if it's on a stolen card. After a certain amount of chargebacks, they raise the cost for that vendor to use their cards or flat out refuse to allow them to process charges anymore.
A game company can't take that chance as it would deprive many of it's players of a payment method, so fraud prevention measures are put in place.
Also, some of the fraud prevention measures don't originate at the NCSoft store but with the credit card companies themselves. The NCSoft store then has to follow those measures to use that credit card companies services. -

I think the better question is why would anyone take Invisibility? Stealth + Super Speed or Stealth + Stealth IO provides sufficient concealment to make you invisible to most enemies and unlike Invisibility does not prevent you from attacking allowing you to run it in combat for the defense bonus if you want (or to avoid having to retoggle it after combat if you have multiple objectives). Between inherent Swift and the buff to Sprint in I18 the run speed debuff doesn't really matter than much.

I'm not sure where the problem is but I can't seem to get these commands to work, no matter where I put them.
I tried in the game shortcut before the /LaunchGame=CityOfHeroes section and while it didn't complain, it also didn't work.
I tried it in the Launcher in the Extra Settings box and it also didn't work.
I know I've seen Leandro or someone else post those settings, but I can't find the posts. Of course, it had to be a prolific poster that did it so it makes it harder to find.
