I logged my second account in just now and saw the NDA so yes it does appear to be still there. How odd.

I think scyfi could be turned around but it would require someone who knew the product to do it. Just someone who is a generic manager is never going to manage to pull it back.

As this is the 2nd wave of the Beta, yes I expect the Paragon Point system to be working at the very least.
The fact that it crashed and burned the first day is actually a decent sign because this gave them good solid data on how much they will likely need to scale it up for a live release. -
After they went and setup 2 servers to test the market they kept the second server and reconfigured it as a separate Beta server. This allows them to test the new issue while keeping the test server open to test and release patches and the like to the live server.

Free players are restricted. I got my account authenticated earlier and even unlocked some of the extra power sets. I think beam is the only one I don't have unlocked.
Anyway once the account server is working again you should get awarded your correct Vet status. -

Yep level 4 has one of the dead spots. I usually make a point of street sweeping a bit during level 4 to avoid this very fate. But I still can spend maybe 5 - 10 minutes street sweeping to get to level 5 at the end.
