How to make NCSoft Launcher use the Training Room I've already got installed?
Have the Launcher start installing CohTest:
https://help.ncsoft.com/app/answers/...city-of-heroes
and on the dialog which says: "City of Heroes Test will now be downloaded and installed.", press the "Customize" button and then browse to your existing installation.
But do you really want Test? Or do you want Beta? Two different servers.
If the game spit out 20 dollar bills people would complain that they weren't sequentially numbered. If they were sequentially numbered people would complain that they weren't random enough.

There are three installations if you want to participate in all testing phases:
City of Heroes (this is the live servers)
City of Heroes Test (this is the Training Room)
City of Heroes Beta (this is for Closed Betas which then move into Open Beta, [sometimes, not always: which then graduate to the Training Room,] followed by Live...it is not accessible unless there is something being closed beta tested, unlike the Training Room)

City Info Terminal: http://cit.cohtitan.com
Mids Hero Designer: http://www.cohplanner.com
And if you want in on the current i21 Beta you need access to Beta servers not training room. And as far as I can tell you do need to download a whole new client. If nothing else the .pigg files are all broken up into smaller chunks than previously.
They are? When I was last playing, the Training Room *was* the beta server.

They basically have two test servers right now. One for long term projects (Freedom) and the Training Room for short term projects like testing a patch before it's pushed out to Live. Follow the instructions for copying files, only the directory names are different (iirc).
After they went and setup 2 servers to test the market they kept the second server and reconfigured it as a separate Beta server. This allows them to test the new issue while keeping the test server open to test and release patches and the like to the live server.

I have a Training Room installation from some time back, in C:\games\CoHTest.
I want to make the NCSoft Launcher use that, so it doesn't have to download all 6 gigs of the current Training Room.
Is there some way for me to make it do that?
