Agreed. With both the idea that these sort of AT exclusive sets is bad, as well as the fact that such a statement is certainly relevant to an idea that creates this sort of exclusivity.

I'd be for an expansion of the origin list if there were an origin that wasn't already represented. But the suggestion here isn't really expanding the list of origins, it's subdividing the existing origins. And it does the opposite of the stated intention of resolving confusion by adding needless and more restrictive options.

When Dave Chappelle did it, it was funny. When Miscellaneous Wayan did it, it was annoying. Sometimes two different people can tell the same joke and only one of them will be funny. That's kind of the point I was making with my previous post.

I saw a trailer for Once Upon a Time in the movie theatre earlier this year and was intrigued. I only found out about Grimm in the last couple of days (and have seen nearly nothing about it), but I'm interested in it as well.
However, they're both on channels that I don't typically watch, and I missed both of their premieres. I have a feeling that the only way I might catch them is online after they've already shown on TV. -
Are you comparing the Stooges to ILC?

Monty Python dips into the juvenile and crass humour as well. Doing that well is no simple task. ILC almost invariably did it poorly. Mike Myers tends to do it poorly. Robin Williams and Bob Saget regularly fail at it in their stand-up. Meanwhile, Monty Python, Benny Hill, occasionally Mel Brooks, and even Dave Chappelle often use such devices well. Is it delivery? Timing? Wit? Subtlety? Beats me. -
Heck, I'd be happy if they just did this with the Blaster's Devices secondary.

Maybe this new version will actually be funny. If it manages to not have Jim Carrey or *any* Wayans in it, that'll be a step in the right direction.

I earn the money that I purchase "glory" with. Of course, I don't consider costume pieces or toggled costumes to be particularly glorious, and I think all of these things should be made as available as possible - and in the case of costume pieces they should be made available in such a way that someone can have/use them at level 1.

I absolutely HATE those things. The one thing I was hoping they would avoid porting over to the new series. Kill! Maim! Frag! Destroy!

I'll be making a Titan Weapons Tanker when the set hits Live. I was going to go with a Brute, but in Beta I found I didn't like the way the set played with Fury (oddly, I think the set would work pretty well with Stalkers, but they're not getting it).
I'm leaning heavily towards Electric Armor to pair with it. -
I'm not playing this game because it's an MMO, I'm playing it because it's a decent create-a-superhero-action-RPG. If I had a single player/XBOX 360 option for such game I might not be here. Indeed, a lot of the things I dislike about the game are directly or indirectly linked to the fact that it's an MMO.

Quote:Indeed. So much so that, until you said that I didn't know what Stormbird was talking about regarding giving us all the non-Epic ATs at the same time. That's not how people think though.
It doesn't matter that they're all available on both sides NOW. Masterminds will always be a Villain Archetype, and Controllers will always be a Hero Archetype as the established player base at large sees it.

There's a cap?
Heck, I thought I had too many on my list, and have forgotten who most of them are or why they are on my list. Didn't know there was a cap.
Go ahead and increase it.... I won't notice anyway.

This is so bad it's good. And while Shatner's music career is traditionally mocked, I have to note that I was surprised to find his album Has Been to be pretty decent.
The only Nimoy LotR song I've heard is The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins, and I don't recall it having Shatner in it. -
Yeah, I felt about the same. And I enjoyed it about like I enjoy a bowl of oatmeal: it was good, it was wholesome, it was filling, but it's nothing to get excited about.

Quote:It's kind of like when a TV series you watch faithfully begins to suck and you keep tuning in in the hopes that it will return to what makes it great. You may not be particularly interested in what's going on NOW, though you were interested in the past, so you may be interested in the future but the only way to know for sure is to keep tuning in.Posts like this always puzzle me. If the game doesn't interest you any more, then why DO you log on? If you can answer that, then look at whatever it is that DOES hold your interest use that as a starting point.
I've yet to find a good remedy, myself, but I do go through oft-lengthy bouts of not actually playing the game while retaining my subscription and kibitzing on the forums. -
Incidentally, GhostofMalta was kind enough to post a video of the set in this thread on the Beta forums. I love the axe and hammer.

He'll be back. Mark Hamill without Arkham is just Mmill, and no one likes that guy. Or something.

I fell in love with this set as soon as I saw the jar. There are other pieces I really like, but that jar is a thing of beauty.
After wiffle-waffling on powerset and AT for awhile, I ultimately settled on the name Bloodblast and went with a Rad/Pain Corruptor (concept - a sentient pool of blood in a containment suit - uses the empty jar with red liquid and the Steam Jets aura tinted red). I pondered going with /Poison, but I didn't like the trap, the inability to colour the tier 9, and some of the supposed-to-be-from-the-mouth animations (though had they looked like they were coming from the breather, I would have liked them just fine).
I was having trouble deciding between that and a similarly designed Brute named Punchbowl.
