  1. Email isnt one sided. No idea on player status.
Urrrm...no idea for other SGs. I would *like* the Krimzon Guard to count, but they don't even have the membershipto be minor players yet, despite IC suchnots. -sigh-
Hmm...I smell plot. Plot is good =P
  2. I think we can round this off with a summation thusly;

(Warning, what follows is pure, unfiltered opinion. Consider yourself warned )

Godly Characters tend to be frowned upon because people who most often create them are those who metagame and godmode, who want to be more 'uber' than everyone else and are generally quite bad at RP. There are of course exceptions and interesting takes on the Godly characters, but they are more often than not outnumbered by the horrible 1337 hordes with their h4x power.

    (Opinion has now ended)
  3. Heh, well spotted...
Myeah, trade in another higher tier power. The overall is quite a good one IMO
  4. Sounds like utter guff, unless it is indeed intended for use as a 'Side-changer' feature. Which, although nifty, still sucks a bit for the poor farmers...I mean, Badgers...
Meh, you go Mad either way you wrap it up
  5. I like it. Its something a bit more unique, seems to be a bit different to other armour sets, the one crit is it seems to be low on actual protection, as in damage res/def. A possible fix could be adding small parts of that to other powers, or making the basic melee/range/AoE def shield quite meaty.

Would need some number-crunching, obviously, but its nice =] /signed

Oh, I also concur with SteelRat

    Widow capes!

I do think thats daft. They already exist as a costume for the NPC Widows, and I see no logic in not giving them to PC Widows....le strange.
    /Signed for Wanting
  7. They do need a major look at the spread of stuff in Blueside. ONE monorail, that would be nice, rather than having to mess around to get somewhere.
Oh, and dear sweet lord of all games almight above...Give us a station in Faultline. Just do it, or wrath be visited upon people. With utter, utter prejudice. Please?

    Wholly /signed

Figured id chuck together a wind set and see if i can come up with something more interesting than the OP without resorting to "silent but deadly attacks"

    1. Gale. pretty much the same as storm but with damage etc changed to match the rest of the blaster tier 1 attacks

    2. Air Blast. you send forth a concentrated blast of air causing your target to take some moderate smashing damage and loose there footing (Knock Down)

    3. Grit storm. using your control over the air you gather up grit and sand and blast it towards your opponent this attack causes only minor damage but leaves your target held as they attempt to clear there eyes and throat

4.Icy Blast. You summon a blast of Icy wind which chills your those in front of you to the bone. DOT cold damage and slow

    5. Aim.

    6. Hurricane. same as defender version

    7. Grit storm. using your control over the air you gather up grit and sand and blast it towards your opponent this attack causes only minor damage but leaves your target held as they attempt to clear there eyes and throat

    8. Tornado. Again same as storm summoning

    9. Lightning Storm. Again same as storm summoning

Sill not particularly brilliant and it reuses far to many attacks from storm summoning but ah well.

This I like. Dont like the original suggested ones. Variety in powersets is always good, IMO, so for concept /signed.
  9. Hmm...worrying.
Maybe someone feels offended by the Handbook?
Mind you, people are goits at times. Fixable? =/
  10. That was made of win XD Really nicely done, loved the expression too

Yeah, aniamted faces plz? Heh. And a cinematic/gameplay trailer would be an ace hook for actual New players.

He's immortal - he's got plenty of time on his hands to get there

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, he's ageless. He can be killed.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    I know - he's immortal, not invulnerable

    [/ QUOTE ]

No, Khoraks right there. Agless, not Immortal. Being Immortal means ya cant die. Ergo, not invulnerable means not immortal, in this context

I'd rather have a power that stops the team running about like hyperactive toddlers when i'm trying to buff them.

Btw I have "select player 1-8" bound to my numpad so ST buffs are only 2 key presses away. Problem sorted.

Big update wont be CoH2, just will be a brand new forums. [censored] 'invalid form' or timeout stuff we got now..

    [/ QUOTE ]

So putting the last 2 posts together it's obvious that GR can't - he keeps trying to but the forum keeps telling him it's an invalid form he's submitting.

    XD It maketh me lol
  15. So...tad confused here.
You can buy the Mac Version for 9.99 and add to a PC version. This unlocks all the gubbins, and game time.
And later, I assume, they will release a Valkyrie pack with the costume and power, presumably cheaper?

I may just get the tenner one, if its the same + game time and out earlier

Plus, I know it's not a totally common complaint but, I hate cutscenes.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Im not a great fan of the current ones, no. I know its down to the game engine, but they are a bit too clunky for liking. Some are quite humourus (Gheist) most are kind of annoying.

But CoX has no cinematics, at all. Which I do miss =/
  17. Techbot Alpha

    Ugh, my HEAD..!

Out of all the problems, think this is a relatively minor one.
Turn off the sound for the duration? And, in fact, its NOT for the duration, only inside the Zig itself. I.E not out in the yard. If it IS, your speakers need changing Col
  18. To be honest, some of this coming out in-game would give people a lot more insight, and maybe a lot more enjoyability. Better cutscenes, more interatcion with those characters...Cant remember the arc, but the two members of Omega Team you rescue, and they keep chatting to you; really gives them character, even if they're only brief.

Having them actually come on line and be RP'ed would, I guess, be the best thing to get character up that we could hope for. Personally I find it a bit of a shame not to see them ever hanging around in D's, given that BaB is meant to have been there, and suchnot. Do they actually show for events? (Ignorant >.> )

Back OT, for big bad guys I think Hro'Dotz deserves a mention. He's big and impressive, and a tough nut to crack. Again, a pity theres no cutscene for him or anything. More CoX cutscenes, actually animated? Please?
  19. Ho-hum, thats a tough 'un...especially seeing as I haven't seen a lot of the TF stuff...

Hard. I would actually say Recluse comes quite high. He always seems to me like Terry Pratchetts Lord Vetinari, albeit far more powerful and with a slightly mdarker streak. He manages to make the Rogue Isles function, in a roundabout way, he's Lord of Arachnos, and he has spider arms...very cool.
Ghostwidow too comes in high, for all the reasons mentioned. She manages to have emotions, character and yet still be cold by beind dead. Her own words, 'The dead cannot change' makes her an interesting character.
I actually like the Arachnos Patrons more than most of the Phalanx. Where the Patrons stand for a borad range of power, and are each a specific facet of Arachnos, the Phalanx and Vindicators...well, their kind of bland. Their used as trainers. You barely see much of them, except on the odd TF.

Clockwork King, Nemesis and the Rikti are high. I need to fight Dr Vahzilok someday to actually rate him...
And amen to the Honourary for Winscott, the Hollows wouldnt be right without the LT.
  20. A way to do it would be to have not so much 'contacts', but 'Handymen'.

    For example;

Handyman; "Hey, what can I do for ya fell...a...wait a minute, ain't you..?
Oh hells..right..well, um, sir, whatcha need?
What? How would I know where to get that many explosives?
Shhh! Keep it down willya? Ok, ok, I got a shipment coming in tonight. You keep the Port authorities off my back, and it's yours, ok?"

For every mission of this sort you can 'create' a mission that involves or revolves around a personal scheme. Or something similar. It just gets a bit boring having to 'work' for people. You big, your bad, you're the one with the powers. *They* should be running around for you
  21. Does it spawn two random things to the desktop? Did that to me, confused me, and had a bit of hassle where something seemed to multiply a lot...
Seems to be fixed now, and I'm leaving them alone. But, seriously, wt-f ?
  22. Meh, the shear weight of bosses isnt that bad...their not even purples, which Alpha can deal with, normally...its the obscene mix of Blaster level damage and AoE, the debuffs and/or spines. Killer =/
  23. I hate getting CPP's redside...Ludicrously nasty, as they hang around in pairs or trios.
  24. The thing I think ruins a lot of extra-dimensionals is the fact people assume they know everything about Earth, etc/ can instantly do wonderful/horrible things.

Arkeela, my angel, is what ammounts to a rookie. She's been sent for field work, scouting and so forth. She can still fly, but like through glue. Shes not used to gravity. Shes not used to the whole concept of the Material plane, and as such shes still working out how her power actually manifests here. She has knowledge of all Earth...out of a guide book from around Medieval times, which is more of a hinderance than a help.

There are other examples I've RP'ed with who make things work well. It can work, all it takes is creativity and a good player.
