No, they patch the updater every now and then as well.

I just cant remember it happening before then. Either it must be pretty rare or my memory must be pants :OP
My MA IDs:

Does it spawn two random things to the desktop? Did that to me, confused me, and had a bit of hassle where something seemed to multiply a lot...
Seems to be fixed now, and I'm leaving them alone. But, seriously, wt-f ?

I'm getting a Cohupdater_UI_Win.dll each time I'm running it now onto my desktop.
Zonealarm also told me it had changed yet it downloaded no patch or anything. Was a bit weird to be honest :/

The game client is the same so there is no need to download from the FTP. The updater has been replaced with a version that will read whether your account is operating from a MAC or PC and will adjust for that.

Actually, it changes quite often. I seem to recall it gets changed every time they do a pre-download.
