NOW ITS TIME TO D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL! -
Are there seriously people out there who don't know Superman's origin?
They should just call it: Smallville - The Movie...
Actually I take that back, I'm pretty sure even in Smallville he fights other Metahumans, this one is sounding like another movie where he fights no one of importance. -
Whoop busy busy weekend, Episodes 10 - 12 are on the front now, thanks for posting those up guys.

I hope that planet has at least 10x Earth's gravity, I could use a new place to train to up my Power Level!

Quote:I lik Granny Goodness. But the reason stems from the reason I like Apokolips. Despite how completely messed up the planet is, everyone blindly follows Darkseid and the the Female Furies are his elite fighting force. To that end Darkseid has Granny Goodness running his training facility for his elite soldiers, where she uses brainwashing and torture, in a brutal parody of child care, to turn the innocent into fanatical warriors willing to kill or die for Darkseid's glory.Oh, and Granny Goodness is a stupid character... is there actually anyone who likes her? Even as a villain? I cringe every time we see her, hear her, or mention is made of her. Not something I hold against the movie itself though.
So I like her because she's the ultimate extension of how messed up things are on that planet but to them its completely normal, acceptable and encouraged. Plus she's voiced by Ed Asner!
Quote:Having recently read Under the Red Hood, The World's Finest, and The Supergirl from Krypton... I have to say the following
#1. The change of names I don't like. Public Enemies and Apocalypse just confuses things for people and in the case of Apocalypse it's a sucky change because the focus of the title should be the focus of the movie(Supergirl) which it isn't.
Apocalypse got changed from The Supergirl from Krypton because I assume they didn't want people knowing right off the bat that the story is about Supergirl. The reason why they didn't want people knowing about it was because DC's line of thought is "Animated movies with female leads = less sales", I base that off of the canceled projects section that says:
"With the lesser success of the Wonder Woman film, plans for a sequel were shelved, as well as a planned animated film based on the 2003 mini-series Batgirl: Year One"
Now I personally disagree with this statement because sales wise Wonder Woman is #4 on the Gross US Sales out the the 8 (not counting Apocalypse) movies that were out.
Under the Red Hood from Under the Hood isn't really a big change it just makes it sound better since the main villain is the Red Hood... I guess lol. -
Picked it up last night and just watched it a little bit ago. Was pretty good but my favorite for the year is still Batman: Under the Red Hood, if you has not seen it, go watch it!
The first thing I noticed was that it was a sequel to Superman/Batman: Public Enemies and they give a small recap of what happened in that movie at the start. After that it was a fun one hour and eighteen minute ride through the story. Looking through Wikipedia they kept the original story 99% intact with the only noticeable change being at the end. No Source Wall cameo in this movie but they decided to keep the clone attack against the Amazons, which I would consider the only 'meh' part of the movie.
Finally, anyone that saw Justice League Unlimited always remembers the Superman vs Darkseid fight, they have **spoiler** another fight **spoiler** in Apocalypse. Whether the fight is as good, better or worse than the JLU version I'll leave up to you. But overall, good film and worth buying. -
I'll probably go watch them again, sounds like fun to me.
Episode I will have the lowest sales for sure but after that the series just gets better and better. So I expect Episode I to basically be the movie they experiment with on 3D techniques so they can use the refined techniques on the other better movies.
I for one am glad that Lucas did 1 - 3 and has shown no interest in doing 7 - 9. Mostly cause I like the Star Wars EU as it is in the post-Episode 6 novels & Legacy comics books and if Lucas did make movies there is a 99% chance that he would ignore everything that has been established in those books and do his own thing. -
Gohan: I think we should find a new location. Because we have about 10 minutes before Vegeta realizes that I just stole this.

That was a very hungry shark from the number of people it ate.

Welcome back, hope you enjoy your stay and try not track mud through Atlas. The janitors are threatening to strike.... again.

Micro-Episode #3 and another character profile trailer is out, I added the links to the first post!
Also 2 questions...
#1: Has Ant-Man always had the ability to shrink down and still be able to knock out a normal sized person with a punch?
#2: Has he always been able to control ants?
I thought he just took the name Ant-Man cause that's the size he shrunk down too not cause he also was the Ant King =P -
Micro-Episode #2 and another character profile trailer is out, I added the links to the first post!

I was wondering where they got the "You complete" bit from for the trailers I saw on tv.
Now I know! Thanks BBM! -

Micro-Episode #1
Is up on Marvel's YouTube page. Just from watching that I got the familiar feeling of the movie version of Iron Man, which is what they were going for I think.
There are also 30 second character profiles trailers for Captain America, The Hulk and Thor
Edit:
Micro-Episode #2
This one features Bruce Banner and the Hulk. Again it looks like this Banner/Hulk is based on the Ed Norton movie version.
They also added a 30 second character profile trailer for Ant-Man & the Wasp
Edit#2:
Micro-Episode #3
This one features Ant-Man and his fancy Pym particles!
And a character trailer for The Avengers' Villains.
Edit#3:
Micro-Episode #4
Iron Man vs Dreadnoughts!
Micro-Episode #5
Thor vs The Wrecking Crew!
Edit#4:
Micro-Episode #6
Iron Man and SHIELD vs HYDRA!!
Micro-Episode #7

Micro-Episode #11
Thor vs Loki!
Micro-Episode #12
Thor vs Loki again! -
It's true and he's so modest about his multitasking because he didn't even mention he's also the leader of the new X-Force.
...Hmmm I think that'd be kind of funny if the Avengers ended up running into X-Force during one of their assassination missions. -
I hope they bring back Kim as a fully trained villain for the Venture Boys.
.....
....
And while getting her picture for reference I found this note in her entry: As much as fans would love to see Kim return as a villainess, Doc Hammer has repeatedly stating that he isn't bringing Kim back
So nevermind! -
Anything from Apocalypse in the 90s X-Men Cartoon.

Actually that first episode was a flashback.
Domino Squadron was first shown back in Season 1. I remember that episode just cause that was the episode where the clones dropped "Hell" into a couple sentences and I was like "I thought this was a kid's show!"
But the tl;dr of the episode was, there was an outpost near Kamino that Rex & Cody are visiting for inspection, by the time they get there Grevious' troops have killed everyone inside except for 5 clone troopers (Domino Squad), they move in to take the place back, Cutup got eaten by a cave-eel thing, Heavy sacrifices himself by destroying the station and the droids inside to alert the Republic of the incoming Separatist fleet, at the conclusion Rex/Cody invited the 3 survivors to join the 501st. -
Starts tonight!
Looks like it's starting with a rookie clone squadron and Shaak-ti episode!
