Star Wars the Clone Wars Season 3

They killed off Heavy rather quickly...
Goodbye. Not to the game, but the players. Goodbye. Everyone, remember to have fun. That's all I can say.
Actually that first episode was a flashback.
Domino Squadron was first shown back in Season 1. I remember that episode just cause that was the episode where the clones dropped "Hell" into a couple sentences and I was like "I thought this was a kid's show!"
But the tl;dr of the episode was, there was an outpost near Kamino that Rex & Cody are visiting for inspection, by the time they get there Grevious' troops have killed everyone inside except for 5 clone troopers (Domino Squad), they move in to take the place back, Cutup got eaten by a cave-eel thing, Heavy sacrifices himself by destroying the station and the droids inside to alert the Republic of the incoming Separatist fleet, at the conclusion Rex/Cody invited the 3 survivors to join the 501st.

I liked the second half of the episode (or the second episode really) more then the first half. I didnt recall the domino squads history in the series, so maybe if i had remembered it it would be more significant when watching it.
You can say what you want about the series being "clone wars" rather then an old republic or any of the other complaints, but they IMO have seriously gone outside the box in making a television series that has definate appeal to all the generations of fans, and i think is probably better produced then most of the animated "kids" shows on the market these days.
agreed, the art style took a bit to grow on me(too angular, cheekbones you could sharpen a knife on) but the stories, ill give them some credit for working well in the universe.
Enjoying it myself as well....I've even gotten past the fact that they've ignored several years of previous EU lore from Comics/cartoons in regards to the clone wars.
