I just hit 42 and put 3 damage slots in Zapp and i had high hopes for this power. Maybe I just don't get it but, to me this power is useless. I hit a even lv bane spider commando for 105.1 with another 105.1 critical. I hit a random blaster for 150 and 150 crit. The only way I was able to kill any thing with this is to play scavenger like and hunt ppl on the verge of death. basically kill stealing. I can fly to so why would I use this power when i can just fly up and use melee or use tp foe and hit harder in the end any way. Don't get me started on the end drain.... the end drain is small in pve and damn near nonexistent in pvp. the end drain in this snipe power will never be of any use to any one. it wont drop any toggles that weren't going to drop any..... if the devs or any one else wants to explain the use of a snipe that wont even kill a even lv minion, I'm all ears. Npcs, blasters, defenders and even controllers shrugged off my snipes like it was nothing, I didn't even bother sniping scrappers or tanks. If this goes live I'm just going to get fitness and TP pools and be a better stalker than Sirocco could ever make me. IMHO Zapp the patron power S U C K S.

yech, -
i dont mind no heal or kb protection because we cant have /Elec replacing all the other brute secondaries.
but dont make them all maneuverable with slow resists and boost recharge and boost run and then have 2 immobs lock them in place even when running combat jumping.
thats just lame!
add immob resists. -

well it is single target (not a cone) and only 6 damage, having it crit 100% would consistent with the other stalker single target attacks. -
Has anyone noted the +sleep effects of their attacks? 5% chance?

Midnight Grasp is 6.3 Damage, single target, thats 12.6 critical AND 100% dark damage.
thats freaking awesome.
Maul is 6.0 damage , 50% critical is just like Ripper (6.3 damage) - Ripper you get at 26, Maul you get at level 2.
All seems right to me. -

Flying Spines Stalker PvP Video The Villain Group is based of the ideas in this video.
This is a new Villain Group coalitioned with the Five Repeat Offender Villain Groups on Freedom. Basically Teams of Airborne Stalkers using coordinated ranged attacks, but also moving in to melee as needed. Levels 41+ should be especially fun with the inclusion of snipes, holds, and blasts. These new ranged powers should all be extremely effective using 1 targeter per 4 stalkers.
Yes, you *must* be a spines or claws stalker with fly to join this team oriented VG.

etc...When you hit a plateau, you do something else to raise yourself over it. A more apt metaphor might be that when you hit the glass ceiling, you shimmy over sideways and climb around it. You've topped out on drawing? Work on color. Play with learning to animate. Learn some 3D. Buy some watercolor and just slap the paint around on a page(you don't even have to try and do a recognizable painting, though that's also an option, of course). When you've hit a limit on the work, do different work. Change your tools. Jump to writing for a week. Make a collage. Fiddle with print design. Create a website. Read a physics book. Take photos of neat stuff. Do sidewalk chalk. Learn to program. Get ahold of training videos by awesome artists and watch how they work. Whatever. Bottom line, when you feel you're not going "up" anymore, move sideways. Art, to me, is like a pyramid. Whatever you start with, you can only get so high before you need to expand the base to get higher. Moving to another medium, another activity, another... anything, really, will force you to think about things differently. Then you return to the work you started with with more ideas than you had before, and you go up. This is part of the reason art is so much work. To me, it's why it's so much fun. But I like knowing stuff, so having an excuse is awesome.
