Quote:If a global SG/VG chat channel has 2500+ people in it. It is not an SG/VG. It has to be something else like BASE BUILDERS channel or something. I never heard of a limit. Although, I have not been a moderator of a global channel that had that many people in it.A mod on one of my Global Chat channels was stalking about the autokick feature still doesn't work. I was wondering if there was a way that the Mods of a Channel could get a access to a list of People that have access to the Channel. Similar to the way the SG list is made, which shows last login. This way when a channel reaches 2500 accounts some could be cleared out by the mods to allow new people to join.
For SG and Chat Channels it would also be nice to see if the Accounts are active or not. This would also help keep SG and Chat Channels available for active players.
One thing I am worrying about is what if said inactive person comes back from being gone a while. That person now would have to try and find a person that is a moderator of said channel and be invited back into channel. -
Quote:Praetoria does have an AE. It is called something else, much like everything else in Praetoria. I can't think of it right now. "Some Name" Studios. I happened to wonder in there by accident. I'm at work right now, so I can't check. I'll see again once I get home. All the OP really wanted was an AE building plopped in the middle of the Magisterium.
Praetoria does need a 'fix', but it needs to come in the form of a polished completion.
Don't get me wrong. I love the place, but so much more can be done with it - and I hope it's potential is realized while there are enough people to fill the servers to yellow and red on a somewhat frequent basis. -
Quote:I always thought that a good 5th power for the Teleport pool would be a Teleport to Node power. The idea is that the character is tapping into the existing medical\security transport system to arrive at a pre-determined location where a clockwork guard\police or arbiter drone is posted.
^
I don't like this idea mainly because the location is predetermined, and you have no control as to where to go. I would prefer to instantly teleport anywhere I need/want to go in an instant, not necessarily a store, mission door, or node. -
[QUOTE=Shadestorm;3301456]From PMs with Golden _Ace, who suggested I post this:
As much as I LOVE PvP zones, and wish there were more, PvP is in a really messed up state at the moment. I'd be happy with a new style competitive PvE zone. No direct PvP, but zone based buff/debuff mechanics, and perhaps temp powers to spawn ambushes at the opposing faction if you see them.

You Just closely described Siren's Call. -

My suggestion for teleport. Lets have a 5th power added to teleport Power Pool. Make the requirement all 4 prior teleport powers to be selected before you can select the 5th.
Map Teleport - You select power then click on a location on Minimap. You are then instantly teleported to location. Must be in same zone to use. Does not work in missions. 30 minute cool down time. -
My suggestions :
1) Rickti Mothership - There is a big UFO sitting there in Rickti War Zone. I want to enter into it. Make it slanted like fighting in an angle since the ship is slanted.
2) Tunnels - Revamp this zone. No one ever goes in there for the exception of the silly trial. I forget name of trial. It is the one in which 8 people click on 8 different glowies at same time.
3) The Future - Some people suggested the past like old western. How about the future with flying cars or bridges on the 50th floor between buildings. Maybe something similar to the Jetsons. -
I was wondering. If there is a person being obnoxious on voice chat, can you just mute the person in question? I remember playing World in Conflict which has built in Voice Chat. If one on team was obnoxious, everyone else on team simply muted him so we wo'nt have to listen to him.

Quote:LOL.And then you'd see your mailbox filled with spam emails each with 1 inf, or a cheap salvage/ lvl 1 enh/cheap inspiration and you'll be back to weeding thru them to find the one you sent. Spammers can easily afford to throw away loot since they farm it hand over fist.
Again there has got to be a better way of doing it than using emails.
One of the reasons why I would place this feature on the bottom of the list of what the devs should do. -
Quote:I can only think of one reason why not right now that has not bemm mentioned. It is not convient. This is a drag. Why hasn't our mail system been adjusted to do this yet?
E-mail Spam.
Do you know how many E-mail I get after one day of not logging in. Whenever I log in, I just press delete 20-50 times just to clean out the E-mail box from RMT (Real Money Traders). I can imagine the following scenario :
1) Log into character and and see lots of SPAM on Inbox.
2) Not bother reading, I delete all the E-mail. 1 of them was an influence transfer.
If one was an influence E-mail, I would have lost millions of influence by not reading the E-mail. Then we would gripe more for losing influence whether it came from myself or even a friend. Even if there is a feature many of us would like to have, there would always be flaws. -
Another option is to probably create multiple arcs. Say Part one in one title and so on. One friend created 2 story arcs 4 missions each. But the story just flowed if you went at it in order.

In order to rate an arc with 0 stars, you have to click 1 star twice. If you never click any stars, it doesn't count for anything.

I never knew that. -

I have a question :
Am I able to purchase this multiple times on one account?
I am thinking the if I can purchase the latter one in which you purchase for 12 months get 2 months free six times. Can I get the seventh year free?
The game has been healthy for almost 5 years and I believe even in a rough economy, it is still going quite well. -
Can't you just build the basic generator anyway?
If memory serves me correctly items are powered in the order they are installed. So by building the basic generator the worktables would be powered first before the guns. I would assume you would install the worktables long before the defense structures. -

I realized last night that my villains had no way to see what time it is while in base. For meeting rooms or council rooms, this would be a handy decoration to have.

As a purely decorative item, I would approve of this as well.
Why not go a little further with such an item? Prehaps if we get a sg badge called time keeper for defeating 1000 clockwork in SG mode, there will be a simple device in which if we click on it, it will tell us what time it is our local time as well as calculate what time it will be on other time zones. -

I don't there should be NPCs in PvP zones anyway.
They aren't "player versus enemy with the occasional player"
they are "player versus player"
The entire PvP system of CoX is completely and utterly flawed.
If they removed the Debt factor from PvP, many more people would partake in it.

Sorry, but I like the Hot spots in Siren's Call. With NPC's backing you up, you actually get the feeling of helping one side out. I say Keep the NPC's in zone.
