Make sure to do advanced search, and select only the applicable forum section (PvP). That filters out all the PvE crap.

If you really want advice on it, you may want to ask Mirage Mage, the guy who posted here a few posts up, in private. Pretty sure he's the undisputed best ice/cold in CoH at this point, and there are probably some things he doesn't want to share on the public forums.

Eh...considering there's like 1 total good ice/cold troller in the game (mage), something tells me it's not that great. Seriously, I don't think I've seen a single one in zones in like a year. If it was really very effective, we'd hear about more than one total person in the game playing it.

There's a difference between OP powers and bugged ones. Fossilize/sharks is obviously OP by the standards of someone with any grasp of logic. But they ARE working as intended, even if it's intended by people that have no clue about how the game works.

LR is NOT working as intended. Neither is the placate proc. But while the proc is fairly meaningless in a 8v8 situation, LR can be heavily exploited. And since the decisions are made by 8v8 arena PvP'ers, of course everything is going to be focused on what affects 8v8.

For example, if this was a 1v1 league, where the placate proc would play a HUGE role, the proc would also most likely be banned, just like LR.

If a person has super speed, you can't slow them down at all anymore. The only thing you can slow is their recharge. Movement slows were basically eliminated from the game in I13.

EM is by far better than everything else, but devices is 2nd best. Well, it may be tied for 2nd with MM, depending on preference. But there's absolutely no doubt that EM is #1.

I read it. It was really, really stupid. The guy makes less and less sense with each post. But it's nice to see someone with so much perseverance. The hole is like a mile deep now, but he still keeps digging.

The nova form is the same for both. Warshades are horrible because they have basically nothing useful outside of nova form.

You can really tell how horrible he is by watching that. He jumps in the middle of a fully set up MM and just sits there like an idiot until he dies. You really can't get any worse than that.

lol at people that thought deveron was good btw. I remember a friend of mine talked to him once, and it turned out the guy was flat out clueless about the game. Like literally his game knowledge was like that of a guy that's played for less than a week. Had absolutely no clue about a single thing in the game other than his one tank build.

Only thing Virtue is good for is for allowing bad players to maintain huge egos. After they get owned on Freedom, they move to Virtue, do better because the competition is laughable, and then claim that Virtue is the better server.

FC has always favored melee, so DB would win.

Skilled is someone that is good at the game. We've been over this before.

Obviously it takes more skill to play a bad toon than a good one. But simply playing one doesn't make you good. Doing well on one does. And no, what you do in the zones is not considered "doing well" by anybody besides yourself.

Every person that's seen you play says you're average at best. Please get over yourself, and stop acting like god's gift to CoH PvP.
