MA/regin is still good. Arguably better now than before, since your mez works 100% of the time on everybody. But it's really easy to play and gives people big heads.
Archery is pretty good, but there are much much better sets. Psy is by far #1.....then fire and sonic are probably tied for 2nd. Rad and archery are probably tied behind that.
For secondaries it has to be /EM. -

But apparently those reasons don't exist anymore. Kind of like speed boost and IR granting unsuppressed movement was a "mistake".....for 5 years. Or how they simply "didn't know" that a controller could spawn more than 1 pet if he had hasten.
It's funny, even when they do something that's good for PvP, they make themselves look bad in the process. -

That's how much of a monumental failure I13 was. To take something already bad and make it five times worse....they don't teach that in game developer school. -
I'm betting it's a bug. But that's good for us, since those don't get fixed in this game.

Without building for recovery and recharge, there's no way in hell that you can play without stamina....but that's still the way I look at the game lol. For me, AM is up like 20% of the time, and CP has a 10 minute recharge
Oh, and the last time I had a dedicated buffer with me......I think it was I12.

The only place a rad/psy is currently good is on some arena teams, combined with blasters. Solo, and in zones, they're not that great anymore. Having to take phase, means you can't have any perception, which means you absolutely need buffing teammates to see anything.
If you're a new player, it's probably not good to start with a rad/psy, considering you most likely won't get to play on a good arena team right off the bat. And everywhere else, you'll be pretty average, at best. -
I forget how long it lasts, but it starts 30 secs after you activate the first phase power. In those 30 secs, you can use numerous phases consecutively, if you have them.

He's talking about how brutes play, not giving some rule about the duel. Just because the brute may try to always stay in melee, doesn't mean the scrapper has to do the same.

It's pretty doubtful that someone could do that in a tourney. I did see some guy quad boxing in sirens like 4 years ago or something. He had 4 ill/FF trollers I think, and they all took the same action at the same exact time. Was cool to see....but he definitely wasn't very effective at actual PvP.
I always wondered how to do that. Is it some macro or something? -
Sounds like some friends that made toons with similar names to play together with.
Then again it could be the same guy that switched toons. -

Like con said, WS's are all AoE damage, which does nothing in PvP. PB's are mostly ST and have better PvP powers like a heal, dull pain, BU, etc.
Nova form is the same for both.....except one can use BU before going into nova, and the other can't.
There really is no argument at all. WS's are horrible, and PB's are pretty good. -
