So I'm looking into making a Mind/Psi fender for pvp. I want to make a build but not exactly sure as I'm just walking into the realm of pvp. Any comments or suggestions on this build?

Lol yes I meant Rad/Psi. If you read the build you would know that. I had just gotten off my Mind/Psi dom when I posted this.

Make all IO's available in Paragon Market! NCSoft, the chinese are making BIG money selling influence and other stuff in the game. Best way to stop them = make the paragon market a place to buy all IO's and perhaps other things as well.

The only place a rad/psy is currently good is on some arena teams, combined with blasters. Solo, and in zones, they're not that great anymore. Having to take phase, means you can't have any perception, which means you absolutely need buffing teammates to see anything.

If you're a new player, it's probably not good to start with a rad/psy, considering you most likely won't get to play on a good arena team right off the bat. And everywhere else, you'll be pretty average, at best.

A rad psi with a buffer behind it can be beastly in zones.\



Edit: woooooah that build needs major help. Seems like there is a post floating around with a cheapo build that mac put together. I would use that as a starting point.

Gotta disagree bro. No fitness means you can go ss/sj/conceal/leadership.

Between AM & CP you should be fine on end. (In arena matches you can also rely on geas.)

You both have a point. I always forget to look at things from the perspective of IO's

Without building for recovery and recharge, there's no way in hell that you can play without stamina....but that's still the way I look at the game lol. For me, AM is up like 20% of the time, and CP has a 10 minute recharge

Oh, and the last time I had a dedicated buffer with me......I think it was I12.

with the 30% boost to damage...i think you'll start seeing more rad/psy in duels (if anyone does that anymore) and maybe some in zone...

was never a fan of taking phase on a rad/psi...if you cant constantly attack on a rad/psi....might as well be dead.

power mastery is great with cp and pbu and tf...but I feel cp and pbu just dont come back fast enough....so I like Psi Mastery equally, because of Dominate. 3 Procs (Hold Purple Proc, Range Dmg Purple Proc ,PVP range damage proc) 3 nucs. Thats pretty much autohit(dominate seems to hit regardless of defense) unresistable dmg on top of dominate's pvp dmg (which is higher than any of your secondary attacks you will be taking I believe lol) every 5-7 secs. Toss in ef, 30% vigilance boost, AM, Assault, and dmg bonuses and you should be looking at dmg bonus around 98-123% and -38% res on top of that.

what i like power mastery for is for fighting elec/therms.

Build definitely needs some work with both power picks and bonus slotting.

I'd shoot for at *least* 1500 HP. The 1135 you have is just asking to be a major farm target to anyone and everyone. Mag 12 KB isn't going to cut it for KB protection. 41 For zones, 45 for arena.

Nuke, Mutation, EMP are useless powers. so is psi tornado.

Radiant Aura shouldn't be skipped, good for HP bonuses as well as heal to save you greens.

Not slotting for travel speed in SS/SJ is an awful idea.

Lingering rad - I don't even use it on my rad anymore. I might be missing out on its debuffs, but for the most part I've found it underwhelming. Both when I use it and when I had it used against me.

EF - Should really have at least 2 ranges in the power. Don't worry as much about end reduction.

Damage procs - Get them if you want to be at all offensive.

You didn't really put the 3% def IO proc in temp inv did you? Sell that for a set of apocs + some other good stuff. It'll give you a lot more mileage than that 7.5% Recharge for the last slot.

You can run stamina less with AM and CP and have perception or you can rely on CM if you have an emp friend around.
