  1. -appears resting on the windowsill, staring out at the rising sun as he sits casually. When things begin to grow busy, he hops in and swoops his way onto the kitchen floor. The cabinet is his destination where he immediately rummages through upon opening the door. As he searches for cereal he finds a box of fresh Frosted Mini Wheats- Mmmm, breakfast time for me!

    All XXX ITF

Pity the only high Stalker I have is the only one capable of attending unless I get two weeks to speed rush my lil BS/WP That'd be fun. It just sucks that Stalkers in general aren't so resilient in that TF. Dunno if it could be done under the time limit to get that badge because as an all-stalker team it would take a lot of patience and planning.

I think I was in one once. I of course was the only odd one out. But that was when you could stack fulcrum and what not so indefinitely to make your entire team invincible! Good times XD

Who knows maybe all the ol'time Guardian Angel's can make a comeback.
Mine is computer problems. It's not related specifically to CoX but it was the only game that would crash every single time despite the experiments I would run. TF2, Crysis, Bad Company 2, etcetera; all games that would crash as well but be completely random. Take TF2 for example, for five hours it would run perfectly and then the next day my computer would have a crash fit for thirty minutes strait. It's done this also without playing any games but merely browsing.

I assume it's the CPU/Socket, there may have been a spark that killed the chip causing it freak out during certain usage periods. I think maybe it's the hyperthreading since one core is always hotter than the other. Needless to say either through Going Rogue or some recent patch within the past two years, CoX has gotten an update that helps alleviate my problems. My computer still crashes but I can play hours on end now without it happening, so it could of been a memory issue as well.

EDIT: On a different note, I did manage to catch Labal on last night. Theresa, his daughter, is around but she's playing alts. :P

    Funny Concepts

Funny thing that just downed on me is cosmetics of a "missing Assassination's Slash" (BroadSword/Will Power) on a toon of mine. Unfortunately it was on ghouls in the underground beneath Praetoria. Still the idea of just standing there, invisible, going to strike a target, and missing... can you just imagine that scene:

    Quote:
Seraph: -readies Gemini, the blade glistening with killing intent. The blade is not alive but the mere sight and energy it gives off makes it appear as a beast with it's own mind. With fluid dexterity and careful aim Seraph thrusts forward-

    [Miss]

Target: -shivers slightly feeling a gust of wind- What was that?!

Target's Ally: -shrugs- What are you talking about?

Target: -looks around feverishly- I just felt a gust of wind on the back of my neck. Eh maybe it was nothing.

    Seraph: -mutters- Dammit.

Target: -jumps a little- What was that?!

Target's Ally: -sighs disappointedly- We're losing ya Johny, don't go into the light! -Looks away shaking his head in pity-

Seraph: -Takes aim, the hit connects, and Target falls-

Target's Ally: -snickers- Here ya go Johnny, this is the culprit. It's a little rat, aww you're such just a cutesy aren't you, aren't you? Yes you are, oh yes you are. -pauses hearing no response- Johnny?
  5. -stumbles in groggily, managing to make his way to the couch and plops down with his head falling back. Just as he sits down he passes out, snoring softly-
  6. Seraph's base of operations is in Dark Astoria. Sounds neat.
  7. Maybe not comics but Seraph is definitely a homage to Dante from the Devil May Cry series. Albeit not related at all to the DMC universe, he looks like a Dante and acts like one too.

Saber Wolf/Agent Shepard was my attempt at a homage to Gray Fox (Katana/SR) but his alter ego is similar to Sam Fisher (Where as Agent Shepard is sort of that alter ego without the cybernetic suit in Praetoria, he's also dual pistols).

Mist Of Shadows is more or less inspiration from Spawn only his case was mutation not magical. He wasn't condemned to hell but merely gained his powers from genetic goo that splashed on him in an accident. The result, he became purely sentient mist that could shape and form at will.

Unit 21 is like a cross over of Megaman meeting Sunny from I-Robot.

Then I just recently made Ryu Takayashi (Kinetics/Ninjutsu - but may change it to SR since he's not far) which is pretty much a dark Riu only with a sense of moral justice. Can't help it, that assassin strike does look like a Hadouken.
  8. I've found myself having been off the game for two years, I guess some patch cured most of the problem I was having causing the game to run steadily for hours on end, only to come back and most of the people I know were gone or doing other stuff. Pocket D is just as crowded during the hours I remember which to me is good news, it's just frustrating that none of the names are those I recognize.

Enerix is dead, haven't seen Labal or his daughter Theresa, so Seraph has to go about and meet new demons and demoness'es to spoil the plots of.
  9. What's the status on the store, been having a problem since yesterday. Effectively bought one booster pack now it's not letting me buy another. It's saying either wait or try the following day.

EDIT: Nevermind, guess it hasn't been a day since my last purchase.
  10. So not much has changed then.

I've been M.I.A. for two years so I'm not new either :P
  12. Sure did. At least for Saber Wolf, now named Agent Shepard. As opposed to being the soul enemy of Malta, he's now apart of their board of directors; his backstory anyways. Didn't serve in the military, hasn't been married (the original Rogue Isles version he was married but Malta killed both his wife and child which is pretty much where he picks up from), and he was an Orphan where as his Rogue Isle's version father was just a guy that adopted him.

No picks though at the moment, was too busy running around and monitoring the games status on my comp.
  13. Hello everyone. Was playing all night. Odd, dunno how long it'll last. Computer still isn't fixed but I was playing some 12 long hours, it's a possible mem-leak/hyper thread issue. Who knows. Bought GR just to keep up with the big expansions and installed it, then putted around on a new tune. It's nice to be back... kind of. :P Everybody I know has either moved on or nor longer plays period. Bummer but oh well.

    Party party party
  14. Bah holding it in RWZ? Should do it in Dark Astoria.
  15. Hello, morning, howdy, hiya, waddap.
  16. Costume contests seem to be conducted quite well with Despiri so perhaps chatting with her on working something out, could develop something grand.
  17. Been playing RE5, getting a kick out of playing as Wesker. Course, I finally managed to survive a cluster frak in The Mercenaries under No Mercy setting.

Unless if you're trying to be a writer, spelling has next to nothing to do with other tasks requiring physical effort. There's a place for it but as a whole, it's just like table manners; people being picky just so they can feel better about themselves.

Einstein failed English, yet we know him as a brilliant mind. It just goes to show, you can be intellectual and yet still have faults that would label you as "improper" within a society.
  19. The game is getting older, numbers will flux now and then for special events or issues but ever so often boredom hits and you kind of want a breath of fresh air.

I do agree with this. Society has put a nasty little expectancy on how people should spell, and I find it redundant. If you can understand the person but they spell an incorrect work... it doesn't make them any less smarter.

I was told there is a service package that will help this issue as well but I'm on 64 not 32 so it didn't work when I went to download, unless I was looking in the wrong place. ..... sigh....
You m'lady maybe lacking the hotfix that was more Nvidia's fault than Vista. I don't have a link but I'm sure someone in the tech section can help you, it's on Microsoft's site.

Now I upgraded to Vista last year about this time and for the most part, seems pretty stable with CoX if you take the necessary precautions when building the machine to ensure proper support of the OS entirely. Over all if it weren't for the crashes I have, it wouldn't be so bad. There's some tips and tricks they can teach you in the tech section... though with the new layout finding this section is a bit of a change. They're rather helpful.

I think a few CoH forumites found that handles they've had for years in this game are banned over in CO, as well. I don't know if "Animorph" would be allowed - it's used in a fairly famous YA book series, isn't it? - but I don't have a CO account and can't be bothered to check.
There was a time during Beta that the name choosing process was a little wack so maybe those friends of yours managed to try to create a character at the wrong time. Can't be sure.
  23. Such an impossible task, for I am Seraph - I deal with worse upon a wake up call. -flexes-

I destroy the person bellow me with my demonic power -strikes a pose- and end it with a verticle slice strait down through the center via a jumping slash attack. Kee'ya! -jumps and swings out his swinging arm, flinging his sword strait down at the next person-
