You go to your User Control Panel, and on the left under 'Settings and Options' is 'Edit Ignore List'. After clicking on this, you need to enter the name of whomever it is you want to ignore.

Quote:Oh dear god. Animated tails that are compatible with back items and are seperate from belts.Animated tails are not capes. They're nearly identical to how we do wings, but a much simpler rig. (Not too much more expensive than a bow when you really get down to it.)
They've also been put on their own costume node and will now show up under "Lower Body". Which will mean you can do a Belt and a Tail (animated or static) on the same character. -
My favourite cantidate thus far comes from our own blonde bombshell;
i17: If your nipples aren't popping, then there's something physically wrong with you. -

Quote:Considering I've got my praetorians all planned out with costumes saved, I would be very unhappy if they did this. I want control of my own praetorians. So, I'm guessing that the Dark Mirror enemy is your Praetorian self that will have your powersets and maybe even copy your character costume.
Zombie Man's not worried, he's defeated Nosferatu, so, he can defeat 'himself.'
Edited to add: I'm expecting an enemy that can mimic us, personally. An enemy that isn't actually connected to us, but can shift its appearance and/or abilities to mimic our own. -

I need to clean up before I can make a reply that's allowed on these forums.

-Paws at the door of the Training Room after reading the Issue Seventeen overview-
-
Good god, I came as soon as I heard. For a 'small issue we may throw together if we get time', this issue is looking fantastic.
Dual Pistols making everything spin around wildly is fine. Put it aside for live as it is. Testing the next wonderful issue can't wait! -
I've always loved the idea of a time control set. I would only make two changes.
Quote:Though many people would dislike it, I feel like a phase power is more fitting to this set than any other. While you can manipulate 'temporal energy' as much as you want, the set needs some actual time control to really live up to its name.Shift foe -foe intangible
Your mastery of time allows you to transport an enemy, sending them a short time into the future. Your foes are absent for this time, and cannot use powers on themselves or be affected by anyone until time catches up with them.
Quote:Summon self -summon pet: control, support
You can summon yourself from the future to assist you. This version of you will engage your foes, assaulting them with temporal energy, and will even include some powers from your secondary powerset. The future version of yourself can be healed, but it vulnerable to Controlling type powers. -

I'm really not expecting more than two powersets, personally. Nor am I expecting a new zone in issue seventeen. I can see them bundling electrical control if it gets sorted in time, although I don't think it'd be GR-exclusive.
That isn't to say I'm disappointed. Nor would I at all mind being pleasantly suprised. I'm really terribly excited for both issue seventeen and Going Rogue, whether we get only what we've been told, or we get a small country of awesome extra. -
I'm thinking that there's going to be something unique and tasty to demons too. With the more recent powersets, they've liked to include some flair. Dual Blades have their combos, and Dual Pistols have their ammo types. I wouldn't be suprised if the Demons' unwilling servitude is shown mechanically. I mean, Desdemona had to tattoo a circle around her neck just to protect herself from the demons she commanded. Perhaps they will turn on us under certain circumstances. Perhaps we have to bind them. Perhaps they are more powerful than other pets, but we have to protect ourselves and our teammates with our unique personal power (Serum/Soul Extraction/Smoke Flash/Repair/Gang War).
Regardless of how they work, when it was announced I wasn't that fussed about demon summoning. But now that we're closer to testing both it and issue seventeen, I find myself getting excited at the idea of them both. -
First of all, welcome to the game!
Secondly, the Rogue Isles on Defiant is probably the least populated english-speaking territory. Europe has less players than the American servers, Defiant usually has slightly fewer players than Union, and redside has about a third of the blueside population at any given time.
Also, CoH is very, very instance-heavy. Whereas in WoW you'll find players running around waiting for things to respawn, we fight (or commit) crime in warehouses, offices, caves and the like. I'd set your 'Looking for team' flag found in your team tab so people know what you're after, and be prepared to start your own team. There are so many people standing around just waiting for someone to /tell them an invite to their team.
I'm on Union myself, which is more roleplay-oriented than Defiant. Although a certain golden-haired heroine will tell you otherwise, we don't bite if you're considering switching server. Server transfers are free until Sunday, so it may be worth considering.
Either way, find the server that's right for you, don't be afraid to start your own team, and join your server's chat channels. Union's popular channels are 'Sals Badgehunters', which is good for finding a team for a task force or strike force, and 'Union Chat', which while a general chat channel, can be used for finding someone looking to team up.
Good luck on your search, anyway. -
I'll be preordering the regular expansion, and then taking them up on their offer.
Quote:This makes me happy enough. For those who prepurchase the separate City of Heroes Going Rogue expansion, but also want the Complete Collection Item Pack, starting on launch day in July, we will offer an upgrade to the Complete Collection. The upgrade will include the Complete Collection Item Pack but will not include any game time.
Then again, after my digital copy and the upgrade, I'll probably look into getting a box shipped over. We can't get the box in the EU, but I want something to put next to my CoH and CoV boxes. This suggests I probably seek odd things, so maybe the preorder/upgrade situation isn't as ideal as it seems to me. -
I was another who didn't even realise they were animated. I would absolutely love to have a static version as a belt option. I wouldn't be too fussed if it was limited to Kheldians, unlocked with the Moonfire TF, or just opened up to all. I just really don't like using the 'tied cloth' belt as an alternative for my more 'Kheldian Pride!' costumes.

If you like the shell casings and debris and such, try the same thing with a gravity controller or dominator. Really.

If NCNC decide the praetorian counterparts to my characters in any way at all, I can say with absolute certainty that I'd be angry. A doppelganer who changes based on who it's fighting would please me enough, but if I get told that I'm to fight the Praetorian Storm Survivor, I'd get pretty mad.
Similar to that Archnemesis idea that Posi explained where we would collect 'clues', fight the archnemesis, and then once they were in the zig another would come along. That'd bug me pretty bad too. I'd prefer a system similar to our own character creation system. Except they'd appear in and around.

I'm looking forward to the Alpha and Omega auras too, but I'm looking forward more to the stance emotes. If this is what I think it is, then it would add that little bit more diversity to my characters, which I always love. Really love. -
To happily test away, I remade my namesake as a Pistols/Devices blaster. Really enjoyed myself.
and I hope that the wonderful teammates who took these don't mind me reposting, but thanks very much to Cryo:
and Edana:
for taking such fantastic screenshots at the end of our all-dp ITF. Really, really fun. -
I think that the Dual Pistols closed beta testers were chosen at random from the pools of people viable for GR closed beta. Some of you obviously weren't as lucky as some of us.

Quote:I thought this when I read it.I hear the Day Job Trainer and the Vanguard Security Officer attend the same support group.
Quote:Yes, have the trainers lie to people and force them to take powers they don't need. Even as a joke this isn't funny. -
Some people need to grow up. This is an issue that we're lucky to get because it's been developed while all the attention's on Going Rogue. Seriously. Play your game as you've always played it, be thankful for anything you find in the free update, and let others do the same. Jeez.

Also, the amount of players I've known to rush to fifty because they want the EATs, only to be disappointed when they realised they'd pretty much ruined a character they enjoyed is far too high. If this stops even one person a week from rushing a character to unlock an EAT, it'll be worth it in my opinion.
Also, I'm not just arguing for the sake of it, but I'm curious as to why you're concerned personally. From your 'easy-to-get-to-fifty' style of writing, I'd imagine you've already several fifties anyway. So how is it exactly that this negatively affects you? -
