Since no one else has mentioned it yet, OP, you can bind whatever power you want as a second "auto" to a movement key or mouse click, and it will fire off as you move about and/or click things. It's a...awkward solution, but it works to keep Rage and hasten up on my tank.

Quote:This is the part where I would argue about base enhancement values, but...you seem to not want my advice. I don't know how to say this in a more tactful manner, so here is my apology in advance: I didn't need Mids' to see the flaws in your build. I would have--after I got home from work--checked it out in Mids' to get a larger picture of what I may have missed, but you can handle it from here, I'm sure.GE is not the warshade primary mez, Inky Aspect is. You need only to hit a boss with GE, and even then I try not to throw the rest of the crowd along with him/them. Even if someone did use it as primary mez, and throw an entire crowd with it, why slot it more when you can perma stun them with just the two slots?
Please don't ignore my not so subtle insults. I specifically said in the original post please use Mids and look at the numbers. I wrestled with myself for quite sometime before deciding to post my build for all of Paragon to view, and I'd appreciate it if you were a little more constructive.
Good luck with your build. -

Quote:GE is your main mezz device. Unless you don't plan on using it, it's kind of silly to underslot it for what it's supposed to be used for.Gravitic Emanation is a 17 second aoe stun with a recharge of 12 seconds. Why slot it more - for loldamage? Combined with Inky Aspect, that's more than enough to permastun bosses. Two slots I thought was plenty - it isnt a damage power, after all.
Essence drain, if you have no other recourse, is better than nothing. Not worth slotting for a heal, or a damage power, imo.
Essence Drain is actually worse than nothing, if it isn't enhanced well enough to hit the enemy. No accuracy, no hit, no heal. (It does make a decent filler attack, by the way. Not a great one, but it works into the DPS chain.)
I'll ignore the not so subtle insults you've chosen to toss out (because I agree that my first post was somewhat terse), but if you don't wish for my opinion you need only ask. -
To expand (I was posting from my phone earlier):
Eclipse is best slotted using 2 acc/dam HO's and 2 recharge IOs. (This is covered in a number of other posts, it's somewhat exasperating repeating it)
For orbiting death, the FotG proc for -resistance will serve you a bit better than the chance for energy damage.
I wouldn't take dark detonation, but as you said this suits your playstyle, I won't make any suggestions for a replacement.
Stygian Circle really only needs a basic recharge IO. Anything more than that is wasted, unless you can find nothing else do to with those slots.
For inky aspect, if you need to slot it with more than it's basic slot, Stupefy is a good way to go for the recharge bonus. You can get the defenses that razzle dazzle provides via other ways that don't take as many slots.
Dark Extraction: Remove the proc and dam/end from expedient, and slap in the Dam/Rech and chance for build up from the purple pet set.
Gravitic Emanation really needs slotted more than it is--if anything, swap out the slotting on Inky for those slots.
Essence drain is not worth picking if it isn't enhanced well enough to matter. If you can't find the slots for it, a mule with a LotG would serve you better.
You've kinda overslotted health and stamina. You really don't need that many procs (I know, the end consumption on your warshade can be scary, but keep in mind you get a full bar of endurance every time you use Stygian Circle in combat), let alone the +regen one. -
Quote:It is capable of meaning a couple of things. One of them is "Multi-Form." The other you can't say in polite conversation.Just something i was wondering though, "MFing" the only time ive heard that term is in Warhammer Age of Reckoning meaning "money farmer" but they way he was describing it, it was more a jack of all trades, as he put it. So what exactly does the M & F stand for in "MFing"?
-
You've underslotted gravitic emanation and essence drain, overslotted stygian circle, and eclipse/dark extraction would be better slotted differently. I also notice you have only one -kb IO. Intentional?
Can't comment on the rest of your build, not at a computer with mids' at the moment. -
Ok, other things to look at in your build (I won't repeat anything THB said, as he covered those bits well):
You have a lot of toggles on, and quite a large endurance drain. I'm hoping some of those were left on by accident, because you don't actually *want* to be running tough/tactics/gravity shield (assuming you get a perma eclipse build).
Your regenerative tissue proc will do you no good in your rez. That proc only fires if you actually use the power.
Despite your dislike of purples, I still recommend getting the absolute amazement set for Gravitic Emanation. It's one of the cheapest purple sets, and it's a better choice than force feedback.
The posi proc will help you better than the dam/range will, in positrons blast.
I could mention a few ways of slotting your other powers, but they all mostly fall under the "build for recharge" thing that THB covered. -
It's definitely true that prices have been in flux, but I find it hard to believe the most expensive/valuable IOs in the game are under a billion now...so yeah, I would check it out before planning your build around it.
If you're definitely sure that you weren't mistaken in the IO you were checking...perhaps it was a crazy fluke? I would have loved to buy a glad armor proc at that price. -
I can't comment on your build (because I haven't seen it yet), but you say you want to do a human form, and this is your first time running a warshade? And you plan on leveling it the legit way? I would really recommend you level it as a tri-form. Human form can be...hard to level with. Off putting, you might say. Plus, leveling as a tri-form will give valuable experience.
As an aside...since when were Glad armor and Panacea proc's under 2 billion inf a piece? -
Well, you know, like Tanker Tuesday, and how they go to different servers each month. That kind of deal. Just putting it out there, to see how many of my regulars would be up for doing that.
-
Some people are of the opinion that we will get inherent boosts like those from other slots. I don't think that we will get them just because we happen to be incarnate, though it could be a possible for the devs to implement a "Freem" bonus for having all of the slots (from Alpha to Omega) slotted.

Question.
How many of you guys would be interested in taking Kheldian Fridays on tour? Just curious. -
Quote:This speaks volumes as to the quality of kheldian players you've teamed with. And to your experience with the AT.Im probably going to come off like a real prik but I am just going to try and be honest.
Being from virtue I am all to used to the concept vs functionality arguments. And in my defense when I run TFs which is everyday when I play, I am not picky about any ATs....except the kheldians. Warshades I tend to be more open about because with little effort or costs they can spec to be tp stealthers at very low lvls. Be assured if your a shade on virtue and asked to join a tf it is expected you can fully stealth by lvl 14. If you cant your a piker shade.
The reason/problem is simple a good blaster can out dps and out tank either form at the same time. A good tank can to. And if a scrapper recruits you its only because of your utility potential.
and then there is the whole human form thing. A well made human form is power beyond the ken of mortal men. You meet alot who try to recreate the function and form of the icon that is the man of steel. Most use tanks or brutes, occasionally scrappers but imo all fail to live up to his standard.
Now a peace bringer in human form with the right pools, and IO sets with a team to further buff him. Now that is superman in this game.
Just food for thought when considering a kheldian. If your going to be in a team do you want to be subpar dmg and subpar tank at your whim, or a Power beyong all others. -
You seem to be in dire need of buffs/debuffs, so I offer my services.
@Stone Daemon, Festina Lente, Cold/Ice fender, level 50. -
For our first Ouro TF, I thought it was apropos to run Twilight Sun's arc. We beat it in half an hour, mowing down everything in our path.
Afterwards, we ran a special AE mission with an Ukon Gr'ai GM inside. We sort of stomped him. Good night to all my alien brothers and sisters, and have a good holiday weekend! -
Quote:Well...I do not appreciate your accusationz.
Why can't you just trust the honesty of my motives and good intentions? What have I ever done to make you doubt me?
Quote:And lastly, we ran the Good vs. Evil Lady Grey Task Force! In a move that failed to surprise anyone, Septipheran spend most of the TF being largely useless as an evil agent on behalf of Zaloopa.
Nah, I guess I could be mistaken. -
-
Because I feel this should make the headlines....
This just in!
Septipheran is now a "Hero!"
I'm taking bets on whether or not he's undercover on some nefarious scheme. Such as, uh, taking over my SG. -
Also, bank missions.

Quote:It looks like THB handled the rest of your questions, but I would like to expand on this bit. I realize you aren't a tri-former, but I think Dechs Guide might help you here. I won't alter the original content, but there is plenty in there that will apply to human-formers.
Also, one last thing. I still have yet to have this properly answered; How exactly do you deal with Mez other than clarion? Can Clarion be perma'd? Or is there another way to escaping mezzers. Again, your help is appreciated

If you read that and thought "Easy, just go dwarf," then shame on you. You're bad and you should feel bad. Remember what you learned in Phase Three: you are all forms at all times. Thinking any other way limits your options; options are power. There are a hundred ways to deal with mezzing enemies, and dwarf only covers about six of them.
Mez them first. You have Gravity Well, a heavy hitting hold, and the means to single out that mezzer through stealth or TP foe if you took those powers. You also have Gravitic Emanation, one hell of a ranged stun for when there are multiple mezzing enemies. You may also have inky aspect if most or all of the minions are mezzers. If it's a mezzing boss, a healthy stack of stuns from aspect and emanation will do the trick. Unchain Essence can stun too.
Sacrifice Fluffy. You have pets that follow you. Either stealth or teleport past the enemy group and let fluffy take the mez. You might hurt his feelings, but that's fine because he's already a tortured ball of angst you ripped from a whimpering, delectable soul. How much worse can he really feel?
Phase in. I mentioned it has a punitively long activation time, so it doesn't work as an escape, but if you took the power, you can use Nebulous Form before you jump into the group. Toggle it up, run in and let the first volley of attacks on you do nothing. Wait for the mezzer to waste that crippling shot, then toggle off and wreck his day with your own hold or stun combo.
Kill them first. You have some very heavy hitting attacks from nova, especially if you carry a mire from the last mob. In fact, I've even run ahead to the next mob to saturate a mire, only to run back in nova and feed the mezzer his teeth. Yet another option is to open up with a (mired) Quasar.
Get inspired. Seriously, you have inspirations. You should be killing so many enemies that you will have trouble keeping an empty tray. Either a break free or a few purples should keep you mez free long enough to kill two full groups of enemies. Please look here for some handy methods to making the inspirations you want.
Wait it out. Generally, this is a bad idea, but you can always just wait for the mez to wear off. Maybe you don't want to waste time shifting into dwarf and then back into nova. Maybe you simply want to cackle madly while the enemies feebly attack your stunned yet impervious body, all the while getting pelted by your three floating furious fluffy friends. Eclipse is not a toggle, so the resistance it grants will not suppress while you are mezzed.
Die. Ha, you probably think I'm kidding. Little hint: Mez and debuffs go away when you die, and Stygian Return gives you ten full seconds of glorious, unhindered retribution. -
Quote:Ugh, my power went out for almost 6 hours today so I wasn't able to do this. I'll put the Underground run together at some point tomorrow.Quote:Woohoo, we picked up Avatar Assassin today! Next week I'd like to finish off MoKeyes by picking up Avoids the Green Stuff and Loves a Challenge. These were the only two we missed last time, and ironically probably the two that are easiest to pick up. Don't touch the shiny objects. Don't stand in the green death. Don't get dead. BAM! Badges. See you guys next weekend.
Seriously, you need to get xfire or something. -
Yeah, I went to a galaxy far, far away for my therapy session.
This week, I'm thinking something without a team minimum requirement, such as the Ouroboros TF's. Preferably the one with the Jade Spider. If we get a large enough turnout, though, I'll be willing to perhaps run something else. -
You know, a twelve person minimum for that trial is ridiculous. I mean, come on. We're khelds. We don't need twelve people. That's just dumb.
Anyways, thanks to our puny human friends for filling the team for us! We had some issues with forming because of lack of interest (and then there was that amusing team kick thing due to trans-dimensional party members), but I appreciate everyones patience.
Afterwards was a quick Manticore TF, so we could unwind and punch some evil pharmacists.
Seriously, that picture looks like we should be on the cover of a cheesy band album. -
Well, I'm somewhat limited thematically, since he's a Bizarro version of my namesake. I suppose I can use the crossbuck or jet engine stick on alternate costumes though.
