  1. Nathan Fillion in Dracula 2000. So young.
  2. I found it interesting that Ray Park was the headless horseman in Sleepy Hollow. Not surprising, but interesting.
  3. Zac Effron in Firefly.

The show The Pretender is excellent for this sort of thing.
  4. Yeesh, Moxie Girl actually just ran out of influence buying 3 generic IO recipes. It's almost as embarrassing as it is pathetic.

See ya if I see ya. I'll be around for awhile.

    Beast/....help

I'm playing a Beast/Pain and am enjoying it so far. I alternate Fortify Pack with World of Pain when I need to keep them alive, or just stick to World of Pain when when survivability isn't an issue. /Pain is a little slow to mature, with the early powers being some pretty bland heals and such. I'm only level 30 so I don't have the last two powers, but Anguishing Cry and Painbringer should both help with damage. Dire Wolf definitely "needs" the +Recovery from Painbringer: +800%. Giggity.

My build plan focuses on +Recharge since the last 3 powers are all click powers that you want up as often as possible (also nice to have Fortify Pack up more often during really tough fights if needed).

Pain Domination's graphics are not amazing, but my concept works well with the default so it worked out for me. Not really sure how much you can do with them.

Overall, it's a solid combo so far and I'm not yet into the best of the powers, or slots to really make them shine. I recommend it, but any of those secondaries will work well. I'm not a fan of /FF, because of the lack of debuffs, but it will make your pets much harder to kill. /Sonic will do a good job strengthening your pets, and since they're melee focused they can make good use of Disruption Field. I haven't gotten to /Time yet, but Agent White already touched on it.
  6. Thanks for the build. Certainly gives me something to think on.
  7. On Virtue, and still have:

    Planet Smasher
    Suzy Homemaker
    Incorruptible
    Grim Fandango

    Gave away:

    Shadowscythe
    Stormraiser
    Stormrazer
    Heavenly
    Avarice
  8. As far as budget goes, I'm mostly looking to see what can be done. I don't usually put a lot of money into builds, so I don't keep a lot stockpiled, but I can always get it if I like the look of a build.

More HP would be a good thing, given the pure defence nature of SR, so that would be something to look into.
  9. Currently working on levelling this tanker up and am having a lot of fun. Problem is I'm not great with Mids and worse with Incarnate stuff, so I'm looking for advice.

The combo will hit Incarnate soft-cap with SO's and Weave, so that's not an issue. I tried building mainly to add +Recharge and some HP/Regen, and while fairly successful on the first (95%) I'm wondering if you guys have any advice on the latter part, or just general stuff I may have missed or can improve on.

Here's the build so far. Haven't thrown any incarnate stuff on yet, still trying to figure out what would be best.

1 or 3 though, 2 is effectively the same as 1.
  11. Before you even start, go buy a Theft of Essence proc and a -KB IO, craft them, and email them to yourself. Thank yourself when you hit those levels.
  12. I like Thermal because it does just about everything. Res shields, buffs, heals, rez, debuffs, ally mez protection. It also does all of those things fairly well.

I was not aware of that, but good to know.
  14. One of the nice things about being Merc/Storm is being able to slot the pet uniques. That and being able to keep everything at range (almost) all of the time with my 'Knockback is the best thing ever' playstyle are definitely high points to the combo.

But as much as I like the set, I agree that it needs some help. Maybe not as much as some people say, but it's still an outlier. Hell, I'd be happy with a straight damage boost, but a lot of these suggestions make me think there are some interesting things that could be done.
  15. I buy mostly the TPB's when I buy stuff, because a single comic isn't enough reading material for more than a couple minutes. They often come with some extra stuff, ie the Incorruptible/Irredeemable TPB's have the individual covers and other art at the end of the comic, and then (sizeable) previews of other stuff that the company puts out.
  16. I like the Hollows and the storyline it includes. Breaking up the slave ring, reuniting a father and son, and battling archvillains and monsters along the way. It's good stuff.
  17. I'll recommend Irredeemable and Incorruptible from Boom! Studios. While they don't fit with all your criteria, you might enjoy them. They've pretty much single-handedly kicked Marvel and DC off my reading list.

I've gone through so many ideas. Half the challenge is fitting the right villain to fit the powers I have in mind. Then once I do that, the concept changes and I have to start all over. Sometimes I hate my own brain.

Ditto. Though I only made it to 18. Bloody hell that's annoying.

    War Mace is awesome though.
  20. Come enjoy a fun trip to level 10! Now with even more Dominator EB's!

Before going too far, I want to point out that this is a Static Team, and not a regular Super Group. Basically, we meet once a week (Wed @ 7 EST) and only play these characters during that time. Other than that one day, we're not really active with this group.

We are still active, though our numbers have dwindled down to just three of us. Our characters are ~38ish as of last week.

If you were interested in joining us on Wednesdays, tyrusprime from the list (thgebull0425 on the forums) is the guy to talk to.
