  1. I would actually like rage to become a toggle power.
  2. I guess the OP was expecting an orange (would have made him sweet) but got a lemon (made him sour), perhaps he should have had a good look before taking a bite.
  3. Ignite, Ignite, Ignite! (I am lead to believe it does blaster level damage).
  4. Getting the quickness clone (+20% recharge passive power) helps smooth the attack chain a fair bit.
  5. With your friend playing such a defensive controller you might want to consider plaing a scrapper or possibly a blaster - I think somthing like a fire/shield scrapper would really synergize well with an earth/FF controller.
  6. I inability to jump over a cardbord box or the kerb at the side of the road made me eventually delete my stone tank - he was lvl 44.

I made a shield/mace tank and he shot straight to 50 in a couple of weeks, took me 4 years to get the stoner to 44.

    Imperious TF

Speed seems to be proportional to the number of corrupters in your team :-)
  8. How about giving a plant/thorn dom a try, doms got a nice buff recently. they are really fun to play now.

It's kind of like playing a crazy blast/scrap/troller hybrid (plant theme pun).
  9. Dark/Dark/Dark defender on Blueside or SoA Huntsman on Redside.

    Stone/Dark Melee

I can't imagine Stome armour being the first choise for farming anything, my guess would be fire or shield. Dark melee is pretty single target oriented as well.

I thought you wanted to tank challenging content with this guy?

Stone/Dark tank is probably the last thing I would pick as a farmer out of all options apart from a 'pure healer' empath.

Sorry if that sounds a bit harsh.

    Stone/Dark Melee

I find fire and cold damage is so rare its not worth worring about.
  12. I think stalkers should have kept Dragonstail.

    Stone/Dark Melee

    I perfer Invl/DM built for S/L/N/E def.
  14. Check out the recharge rate and percentage chance to stun on Pummel (its about 60%). Pummel on auto can be a real life saver.
I would avoid CT:Offensive, you can get much more global accuracy from set bonuses.
TT:Leadership is ace though, plus to hit for a whole team can be a godsend sometimes.
I hope I don't to explain why TT:Manuvers is the bees knees.

Once you have some reasonable enhances the combo of CT: Defensive, TT:Manuvers and WAWG can keep you pretty safe.
My opening strategy on a group goes somthing like WAWG (also slows and stops knockback), Venom Grenade (for res debuff), heavy burst, frag grenade. Then burst and single shot to finish any survivors, pummel anybody that gets in my face.

Did some arena PvP against some mates not so long ago with my tooled up huntsman and he could single handedly take on multiple oponents and win.
  15. 9 times out of 10 I would rather have a stalker than a scrapper on a team.
My only hesitation is that a badly played stalker may be slightly more of a liability than a badly played scrapper.
  16. Does the endurance crash from firing EMP arrow seem illogical to anybody else?
How does firing one particular arrow make you so tired out you have to stop shooting for 3 min?
  17. What if the mastermind could use the serum on himself?
  18. Both dwarf forms do an okay job of filling in if you don't have a tank on the team. If you want somthing for full time tanking you are probably better off with a tank or possibly a brute.

    Good combos?

I'm finding Mind/Earth quite good, its very safe - Mind control lets you work in melee very easily.
  20. I'm almost at all AT's to 50 myself, just MM at 38 and WS at 44 to go.
I seems that our view of the different archtypes is fairly similar. I have also struggled to get into masterminds, it seems like playing by proxy to me. I really loved leveling my SoA, I went with a huntsman build and thought of him as a no nonsence gun weilding badass bringing 'justice' to the freaks and weirdos in the rogue isles.
  21. Desing some kind of random instance map generator, so we won't know the layouts by heart.
  22. The thing is a bad tank sticks out like a sore thumb, while a good tank can make up for a lot of below average fillers on a team.
  23. Try using your merits on random rolls in the lvl 30 to 34 range, that should get you some fairly decent recipies.
  24. That gauntlet included a stacking 5% resist debuff tied to the teir one mandatory attack in the secondary powerset.
  25. I have never complained about the way the EU players are treated before, but this time I am really dissapointed. I was looking forward to going to the game shop on release day and buying a brand new Going Rogue box. I far prefer having a box and all that comes with it to some souless download.
I does feel a bit like the EU servers are slowly slipping into a coma at the moment. I was hopeing that Going Rogue would be a major shot of adrenaline for the EU servers but if its on download only then I have serious doubts.
