Adeon Hawkwood's points 2 and 3 are also very good advice.

Is it actually downloading, or does it actually say verifying instead? The first thing that usually happens when the game is copied over like this is that it notices that things are different and it first verifies that the came is correct and up to date. This looks a lot like it's downloading.
You can also check BillZBubba's Guide for Moving CoH or Installing Test. It has lots of useful info for this situation. -
Unfortunately, I won't be able to make it this Saturday, so I'd have to vote for Sunday for purely selfish reasons. But I hope, for The Greater Good, that it continues on Saturday.

Go try the original Everquest if you want to see crazy aggro. You could shoot a gnoll at the bottom of Blackburrow and it would come running after you and bring along every single gnoll it met along the way.
Aggro here is very simple and easy (imo) as long as you just pay attention to what happens. Heck, on my AR/dev blaster, I can stand in the middle of one spawn without aggro and take out a completely different spawn (cloaking device+smoke grenade). -
Quote:Very old school.I think we SHOULD change its name to Lucas. Lusca is too old school.

Quote:According to the demorecords I've done while trying to find it, it's been flying at various altitudes from 170 to 200 feet. It is stealthy though and hard to see (get a lock on). You usually have to be pretty close to get target it.Quick question, how high does Caleb fly above Thorn Isle? Been spawning him repeatedly and can't find him still. XD
If you have a base empowerment station, get the perception buff, it might help you. -
Well, 1:50 am Pacific time here and it's still running, so they're a bit off on the time

The Luck of the Gambler is a Global Invention Enhancements. It will act like a set bonus and if you exemp more than 3 levels below the level of the IO, it will cease to give you the recharge bonus (though the defense bonus will still work).
The Numina is a Proc. In a click power, it will start working when the power is clicked and for 120 seconds afterwards. In a toggle, it will work as long as the toggle is on. In an auto power, it will always be on.
edit: I'm too slow -
Quote:Still nearly 8 hours left. It ends Sunday, October 31, 11:59 PM Pacific time.Is it possible for Caleb to spawn during Halloween? I know there's only an hour until the event is over, but just asking, haha.
But it's a good question. Probably not. The GM threat guide says the ghosts have to be killed during daylight, which obviously doesn't happen during the Halloween event. -
Quote:For what it's worth, about a week before Misaligned started anti-flipping them, I bought up and destroyed about 1,800 spirit thorns. I was inspired by Nethergoat's neverselling ice thread. It's been happening with other white salvage as well. Spirit thorns, Nevermelting Ice, etc have all been at super low supply, and with some bids hitting the 1 million + range.
It really was enlightening. I had read the stuff here, but to watch as stuff still went up and sold for cheap while I was burning through them was very interesting. A few hours later the number of bids had shot up to 300-400 as people were trying to capitalize on it. A couple days later, the stock remained low and the prices remained low with 0 bids on it. Then Misaligned started in.

No guarantee, but try:

I just poked around and that that sounded like it might be right. -

For nearly every item, a roll is made when an enemy is defeated and then the item is given to a random person in the team. If that person does not have an open slot for the item, it is lost.
There are a few exceptions. For example, defeating an AV gives every person a SO. Defeating a DE Monster when you're level 45+ gives every person a chance for a inspiration and an EoE.
It is possible to get multiple drops of different items. See Quinfecta for an example. -
Quote:It was an old bind that somehow got reactivated. If you've never read it, you need to read Jock_Tamson's In the Beginning... thread. The section I was quoting was from the second post.As we begun the final mission, Flaming Chihuahua regaled us with a story to pass the time. Something must have caught his attention, however, as he never finished. I still wonder about what happened to Defender and Scrapper.
The key it was using was my target_enemy_far key, which I use to taunt and bring enemies in closer, all the better to burn them. I still can't figure out how that happened though. I see in my log files where it got activated, now I just need to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Quote:Not a change, just the way it has always worked.I noticed [the one time I bothered to participate this year so far] that the timer resets once the banners are defeated, and this is a good change.
Quote:I have two characters for whom costumes are not dropping at all, which leads to my being unable to get the special tip mission and on this count I am pretty annoyed. One of them even has a costume badge meter that is moving, but no costumes are in his trays. Fun. -
Quote:And Lieutenants have a better chance of drops than minions, though less than bosses.1. You have a better chance of getting a recipe drop from a boss (to the best of my knowledge).
One thing that people often get wrong is that level plays no part in this, beyond the fact that greys won't drop anything. A -1 minion has the same chance of dropping something as a +5 minion. -
Quote:One roll is made to see if you win a Temp power or a costume pieceWhen the temp powers were introduced, somehow a roll has to be made to determine now if you got a costume piece, " A TEMP POWER", a very common recipe, common recipe, rare recipe or purple.
A completely different roll is made to see if you win a "a very common recipe, common recipe, rare recipe or purple. "
That's what is meant by being in a different drop pool. The addition of temp powers had no impact on the drops of IO recipes. -
Quote:Previous thread.Performance Shifter +end proc:
It's supposed to be (at least it's always been) a flat 10 points of endurance, but I've lately noticed it's granting 10% instead of 10 points. Guessing this is either a bug or an undocumented change. -
Quote:Check the market. When I checked yesterday, the prices on Halloween salvage was rock bottom, costing only a few thousand for each piece.More than liking it is bad luck, but I'm trying for the extra costume slot for my newbie characters.
edit: The prices have risen a bit, 10-30k range but lowball bids are likely to get filled with some patience. -
I've had several cases of a boss and a lieut come out while ToTing.
