Banner teams are for a Halloween zone event. They aren't for ToTing.
ToT MOBs are boosted a bit regardless of your difficulty settings.

When it comes to what pops out of the door, ToT isn't any different than last year. May be different than the last time you did it, but hasn't been changed this year.

Last night, while solo, I saw:
- one boss alone
- one boss plus a friend (I don't recall if it was a minion or lieutenant.)
- one lieutenant, 2 minions
- three minions

More than liking it is bad luck, but I'm trying for the extra costume slot for my newbie characters. So being level 15 fighting a boss and LT is tough, if not impossible at times. My memory might be fading, but just don't remember it being this tough last year, but than again I was on my fifties last year also.

edit: The prices have risen a bit, 10-30k range but lowball bids are likely to get filled with some patience.

I was on a banner team last night, even had the star. I still don't know what I was supposed to do. I tried asking the team and only got "we need a full team". We kept slugging though, finally getting the banner to con. After beating the banner down, with the help of another team, we failed. What are we supposed to do on a banner team?

A team of 6-7 well coordinated and good players can run an entire zone event by themselves but having a full team at each banner makes things go a lot easier.
You don't need a full team, but it helps.
Banner event goes like this :
Four banners appear, then start spawning mobs. IN the magic circle on the ground glyphs can appear, don't recall which is what, but those are mob buffs.
To make the banners vulnerable, you have to defeat enough of each type of banner mob - this is why a full team helps, you send two to each banner to make sure this happens. When the limit is reach, the "banners Vulnerable" message appears and you can beat on them.
If you can defeat all four in the time limit, a GM appears, which will disappear in about fifteen minutes (independent of original banner timer). Defeat him and get merits and a temp power (different ones to choose).

Halloween salvage is also "special" and does not affect your regular salvage capacity. Just ignore them until next summer, and sell them at a profit.
