Quote:Take a look at the Talk Page for Respecs. Part of the conversation there in June 2008 (pre-I13) includes a link to a screen shot that shows 8 respecs and doesn't differentiate between Freespecs and earned Respecs.I'd have to disagree on that as before I 'retired' the last time (just after i13 released) I would login to something like "You have X Respecs and Y Freespecs". I do have something scratching at the back of my mind though about a change semi-recently which basically nulled you down to 1 max now that I think about it. Then again, what i'm calling Freespecs is basically something other than the earned ones you used to max out with (3?), but it's been so long so eh.
edit: Additionally, I found a screenshot from 2006 on a character that never got past 20 until this year and this was pre-I8 (vet respecs). It says "You have 1 unclaimed respecs available." The only type of respec that character could have is a freespec, and it is not identified as such. I can post the shot if needed. -
Quote:You can't accumulate Freespecs. You can have one at most. You can accumulate Vet Respecs, Patron Respecs, Trial Respecs, Soldiers of Arachnos Respec, and Purchased Respecs.I know I haven't used all my accumulated Freespecs, but I noticed that it doesn't mention a separate line for them anymore. Any ideas? Have they combined the numbers to safe space?
But yes, relogging into the toon will show you the numbers. ;-)
Wiki page on respecs. -
Ok, thanks for the links, my search fu failed me.
-
I just noticed that the Merit Vendors are selling Market and Auction house license for 180 reward merits. Is that new or have I just been blind?
-
The only type of respec that the /Respec command accesses is the Free Respec which does not stack and you can only have one of at most.

Ok, to be clear, are you able to drag this Mystic Fortune to your power tray and use it on other players?
On the other characters that don't have it, try targeting another player and type /PowExecName Mystic Fortune in the chat bar to see if it goes off.
Maybe also check under email to see if Mystic Fortune can be claimed on the other characters. It's a long shot, as I don't think MF gets added to a character that way.
Finally, try typing /MyPurchases into the chat bar. Here's a post from SnowGlobe that might help with the big pile of text it gives
Quote:To get a list of your unlocks you can use the /mypurchases command.
Warning: it will spam your system message channel.
The easiest way to see it outside of the game is to:- enable chat logging
- use the /mypurchases command
- close the game
- Find the chat log. It should be in the \City of Heroes\logs\game logs\ directory.
- change the log file extension to .htm
- open the log file in a browser
- The items that can be claimed multiple times should have a "purchased" and "used" column. I'll assume "used" is "claimed".
-
When someone uses Mystic Fortune on you, whatever the result was will show up under your powers, but as an auto power. If you can't drag it into the tray, you don't have the ability to use it on others.

Take note that while selling for 1 infl is certainly a viable option for quick and easy marketing, there is a chance it will bite you in the behind. There are plenty of people out there with low ball bids for just such situations. I have a few bids up for Chance of X damage IOs up for 1 million and on the rare occasions they fill, I can flip them for a lot of profit. And it's happened to me as well. I once put up a Numina triple but mistyped and left a 0 off the end. It sold for only 1 million rather than the 30-40 million I could have got for it with a little patience at the time.

Try copy/pasting:
/optionset StoreAccessButton 1$$optionset LoyaltyTreeAccessButton 1
to remove both buttons. -
Quote:No riddles, do what Rajani Isa said and repost in the Technical Issues & Bugs section. Make sure and read the [Guide] Asking for technical help on the forums thread first and post the relevant info.Oh all my drivers and vid cards are updated, and installed right, but seriously any answers to this without the riddles?

Quote:Thanks a lot for the info and your hard work on it. Good to know. Some how it is borked in that BOTH Croatoa and Steel Canyon Hero Corp Reps will give you the mission. No other Hero Corp Reps will give it to you ( I grabbed the arc through Ouro multiple times and went to every Hero Corp Rep in every City zone to check this).

Quote:No, usually it doesn't. While you may sent to an area in a zone that has enemies too hard to fight, it shouldn't send you to a zone that's the next tier up.The game has a lot of missions that are inexplicably placed in higher level areas yea. you get used to it.
This mission jumped out at me the same way when I ran it. -
Quote:And Arena (/AC). I'm not sure about Architect Chat (/MA) but I think they can use that too.but for the f2p it is basically the only source of communication since they cant communicate with other well due to being limited to local and team
It's a shame that neither of these are in a default tab and can't be repurposed for F2P use. -
You could send a PM to Zwillinger, the Community Manager.
But to make one thing clear, the support people aren't necessarily informed about the game, it's really not their job. They work with all the NCSoft games (Aion, Guild Wars, Lineage) and are here to help you when you get hit by bug, such as something stuck in a wall, etc. -

Quote:Interesting, same problem here. It says I have the incorrect password and I can't log on. It won't email me the password reset either.I'm updating this thread because I'm feeling rather stuck. I went to the Titan forums to report my problem, but I can't logon to post a message. I tried asking for a password prompt to be emailed to me and never got it, and it wouldn't allow me to re-register either.
Does anyone know if there's someplace else I can post or email a question about Mids'? -
Most inspirations last for 60 seconds, not 30. The idea is to pop a bunch to cap your defense/damage/whatever, then buy up until your tray is full again. You can get into the mission and fight the ambush with 30-40 seconds left if you're fast enough and still have plenty of inspirations for when those wear off.
-
I just heard that buffs are also stripped when zoning into AE, so you can't pop a ton of inspirations, then zone in and be ready for the first fight.

Hmmm, probably a good idea. After I posted I noticed that the thread said "repo.cohtitan.com (distribution site for Sentinel and Mids' Hero Designer)" was supposed to be up. Might be something that slipped through the cracks.

Quote:That part of the network may not be up yet. See this thread. For example, Ouroboros Portal only just went up. City Of Faces still seems to be down. You might want to post in this thread on the CoHTitan site.Ever since the Titan Network went down and came back up again, I've been getting the message "Error Downloading File" whenever I try to use a Mids' data link to open a build.

1) You can get to First Ward through Imperial Underground. There's now a portal to the Underground in Talos (north of Arena) and Cap (SE pier).
2 & 3) the level range is something like 20-30, and if you're in that range, you'll have a contact outside the above portals who will direct you further.
4) haven't done enough of it to say.
If you've outleveled the arcs, you can pick them up in Ouro. -
It's still the only way. But now you can build the items you needed the Notice with thread components instead.
