I had this problem randomly hit me once. When you hit the support site, check the upper right corner for a drop down that lets you select between English US, English UK, German, French, and Spanish.

Updated both wiki pages with note about getting the badges since I21.

Quote:Ok, so it's the European edition. The question is now do you have a European account or a US account? Unfortunately, you still can't use mix codes between the two. If you have a European account and can't add the code then it's a job for support. Thanks for replying - I think it was called "collectors" in the US.

To use an example, I was looking for a Kismet +Accuracy

Could I trade in a Hero Merit at Fort Trident? (I tried and I don't think so, but if I were sure, I would not be asking, would I?)
You can. The problem you may have run into is the limited level range of the recipe. If you tried to buy it with a level 50 character and didn't set the level slider to the proper range for the recipe, it wouldn't show up as available for purchase.
In this case, you would have to set the slider to someplace in the 10-30 range, as that is the range that Kismets show up in. -
The wiki is correct, you can be villain or rogue. I've unlocked them as a rogue before.

Quote:*Points back up the thread a bit*Absolute Amazement: This enhancement gives a 33% chance to reduce your targets' To Hit value greatly.
This does not fire? -
As long as that account has not previously had that box added to the account. For example, if you used to play way back and added Good Versus Evil to the account a few years ago, and let the subscription drop, you cannot pick up a copy now and add it again.

Quote:They are exactly like alignment tips and show up in the same place (Contacts menu->Tip tab). There is no way to tell if the tip that just dropped is a regular tip or a valentine tip until you go to that menu. It's not working as expected though. I do get "Tip discovered" messages or something to that effect, but they don't show up in contacts or missions or clues. I suppose they are similar to the Alignment Tips I got on one of my Villains I have over level 20?
I also just discovered that you can get a Valentine tip and a regular tip from the same kill, so they aren't mutually exclusive. -
Quote:The tips drop off of level 20+ enemies, even gray ones, so if you're still in Praetoria, you're probably going to be hard pressed to find many of those. Now I read on the Paragon wiki that there are also Valentine Tip missions. I understand that you need to be level 20, so I just levelled the character who did the box and cauldron and Snaptooth missions to 22, but still no Valentine Tips. What do I need to to do get those, or is it just random bad luck? I'm playing a Rebel in Praetoria if that makes any difference.

As of September, 2011, it was working.

http://paragonwiki.com/wiki/Temporary_Power:_Jet_Pack (not on the previous list, for some reason) -
In addition to the one you can get the first time you run a Mayhem/Safeguard mission, as well as the Jingle Jet you can buy from the Ski Chalet.
-
According to the wiki page, they "also as rare drops during Incarnate content."
-
What travel power are you talking about? Do you mean Temporary Power: Jet Pack?
If so, then the power will be available at any level as long as you have it. It won't be available a few select times, such as flashback with no travel powers. I believe the crafted one has 30 minutes of use time. -
A question that came up on a global channel just now was if ATOs were usable by F2P characters or not. The Wiki page says that they are not inventions, but doesn't otherwise say they are VIP or not. Has anyone tested it yet?
-
Quote:I just went to NCSoft.com, clicked on store, clicked on the "Buy Now" on the VIP listing on the front page of the store, and that took me directly to the screenshot above.Firstly, I clicked on the "Buy now" option which does NOT give you the info displayed in the screenshot above. It simply takes you directly to the payment details setup. Fact.

2011-06-28 patch notes
Helpful hint when searching through patch notes on Paragon Wiki is to use google with site:paragonwiki.com inurl:patch_notes . -
I believe that you can get an intro to snaptooth by doing either the Sela Vermont or Zev Scalamore missions.
-
Texas Justice had a good post on some of the difficulties that probably exist in regards to level pacts and freedom.

Gotta love people that break the forum rules for no reason at all.
