If you've only played an AT once (one set combo) and "hate" it - don't give up. Roll a different combo. It may just be those sets not clicking for you.

He didn't say that. If both players who had a leveling pact before Freedom, and never went off subscription, then you should still have it after Freedom. However after Freedom, if either of you go off subscription, it's broken.
After Freedom, there isn't an option to make a pact.

I made a leveling pack between my two accounts during the Freedom head start. My second account has since gone premium. My characters are still in the level pact.

So it sounds like it was removed because they didn't want free and premium players having access to it? Any idea what the reasoning behind that was/is?
My wife and I just came back to the game after a few months away, and found that leveling pacts were no longer working. It was kind of a bummer, because we almost always pacted our characters so we could stay in sync leveling up.
Was there any particular reason they got rid of them? And is there any indication whether they're ever coming back?
