  1. You don't "need" both hiber and phase on a stalker. But I do have both on mine and wouldn't drop hiber unless they nerf the hiber/phase combo. It's nice to have for zone pvp. For arena phase is more than enough.
  2. Both elec and em are better than bs. It's damage is sub par and the animations are slow. Personally, I'd go ma over bs.

Parry is pretty much a worthless power in pvp.

TF is still a decent attack from hide. That coupled with the high damage from ET without having to be in hide make it much better than bs.

    Elec Stalkers?

Elec for stalkers is so good because thunder strike can double crit for insane amounts of damage. As far as I know it's broken and will probably be fixed sooner or later. But the way things are currently going, that wont be for a long long time.
  4. Fire/regen is by far the better of the two. /fire can work, but regen is much better.
  5. Haha, I see what you did there. Funny stuff.

    EM/Nin or EM/WP

    This post looks familiar...

Wp is good out of the box. You can easily cap HP without accolades, it has good resist's, moderate defense, repel protection and a self heal. Slotted with SO's and a stealth IO WP can perform quite well. With a good investment its pretty god like as far as stalkers go. Can't really say the same thing about nin. Nin needs a decent investment to make it any good.

  10. My arch/dev blaster. Just launch web nades, try not to die, and hope for a kill here and there.
  11. For some reason as he looked up at the three behemoths, he couldn't help but hum the oompa loompa song in his head.

  12. Those are solid numbers. Since damage isnt a primary concern on a emp you should be good to go.

    PvP Archer?

I say rad trumps arch for its procablity along with the stun built into the attack. Possibly nrg since you can slot it with the smashing procs for extra damage, but thats up for debate. Another drawback of arch is the redraw issue since it uses a weapon. Not a huge concern if you know what you're doing but its still there.

    PvP Archer?

If you really want to roll a arch blaster, talk to the arch guru, divine.

I have fun on my arch/dev, but in all honestly you'd be better off with psi, fire, rad, sonic and possibly even nrg.
  15. I don't have any toons with tp foe, but I don't see anything wrong with droning. It's just a way of saying "Back the hell up and give us some time to breathe"

From what I understand jousting is what a melee toon does, sort of like a drive by melee attack. Kiting is what a ranged toon does. As far as toons you should roll, you cant go wrong with a psi/em blaster. There is a reason you see just about everyone and their mother with one.
  18. I'd have to say my biggest WTF moment was when I logged into atlas only to find a 15ft tall bald guy with man boobs and legs that seemed to stretch halfway across the zone dancing under the atlas globe. I guess someone had messed with the graphics somehow and made a guy with the bare chested male skin chest detail option, only with a female skeleton so it appeared as if it was a really muscular naked girl with the boob slider all the way up. It was hideous. The guy... girl... thing, made regular appearances in atlas for about a month or so.

    I didn't think to take a screenshot, and quite honestly, I'm glad I didn't.

I actually tried that before. I lost about 500mil transferring inf between toons on a dumb mistake and sent in a petition about it. I got a e-mail saying there was nothing they could do about it.
  22. Nerd rage at 12 o'clock.
  23. If you want to be a cool like me roll a nrg/nrg or arch/dev. If you want to win, go psi/em.

Basically to save the slot for something of better use. Squeeze as many set bonuses/procs out as possible.

Since most people run sprint with stealth, the end cost is about the same with end redux slotted. I see what you mean with a tight build (just threw one together) and gi being pretty worthless on a good match and si being almost impossible to fit in. Hell, I had a hard time fitting in phantasm and pi. It almost seems like hiber would be a better choice to free up a few powers, but then you loose the mobility of phase.

But seeing how tight a emp troller build is I don't see how a primary could effect bonuses that badly. I could see mind and ill being the best as far as set bonuses go, but exactly what primary would render a emp so much worse off than any other emp that it would even be noticeable?
