WP is considered the best overall because it has better survivability. Nin = pure luck, as all defense sets. Sometimes you'll get missed by getting lucky, sometimes you'll get hit with every single shot thrown at you. And there's nothing at all you can do to control it.
With WP, you always know exactly what to expect: easy HP cap, decent res, self heal.
Nin isn't bad, but WP is better.
Actually I think I'm going to switch to EM/Regen. Any ideas for a build?

I don't really bother with builds personally. But regen is also really good, maybe even the best, but it takes a ton of money to get it to that level.
If you have unlimited funds, go regen. If you don't, go WP.
what about eletric/nin ?

and Elec/ is a heavy hitter.

with elec/x all u need to do is spam thunderstrike+sharks and u win

I'm interested in making my first PvP toon. I've decided on Energy Melee and will probably go in Sirens' Call. I've narrowed my secondaries to /Nin or /WP but I'm not sure which to choose.
If you could tell me which would be better, that'd be great.
I'm also looking for a build for whichever one. Not a cheap build, but nothing with a bunch of purples.
