  1. Hi,

    I'm going to be running an AE farm at +4 x8 which the enemies all have ONLY fire attacks. I was thinking of finishing leveling my Fire/Fire tanker (at level 30 now) or making a Spines/Fire scrapper. My question is, who would be better for farming (speed-wise) for this? I'm not worried about survival because of the extra buffers already in the mission (force fielders and sonics).

    Okay because I'm still freezing in CoX. I ran the Toy Shop on Automatic Mode for over an hour and it ran fine, no freezing. So what could be wrong?

    A thought just bubbled to my head after Red Valkyrja's post. While Nvidia is known for the exploding laptops... it's possible that if a fan has died in your laptop... your laptop could be overheating and locking up...

    I'm currently uninstalling the CCC.

    And I have no idea, I just followed the directions on the website :/

    I guess after this is done uninstalling I will go back and finish installing the driver.

    I'll let you know how this goes.
  8. Okay after doing all of this, one more slight problem. "The setup has detected that version 2.08.1110 of CCC is already installed. This setup installs an earlier version of CCC (2.008.1028.2133). You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version".

    How do I do this?

  10. The first driver didn't work.. I'll visit the site but I don't think I'm going to know what to do. By the way, it said it couldn't find a driver that is compatible with my hardware. Any help?

    Which driver am I supposed to download? Intel 945G Express?

    And was I supposed to do something with the Driver Fetch after I downloaded it? I just scanned and then did nothing else.

    For a while now, I've been having issues with my laptop freezing while playing CoX. I have enough memory and everything, but after doing some reading yesterday, I think the problem might be my driver. It's a Microsoft HTS721060G9SA00. My laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad T60.

    I tried downloading a couple different kinds of nVidia drivers (I tried GeForce 200M and 9M, which were just random ones I wanted to try out). After downloading them, I tried restarting, entering Safe Mode on my laptop, going to C:/Windows "nv4*.*" and deleting everything (I read to do this online) and then installing the new driver. But this is where the trouble happened. After almost finishing installing, it says nVidia could not find any drivers that are compatible with my hardware...

    I'm almost 100% sure that this problem is due to my driver. And I can't stand freezing in CoX every 5-10 minutes and then having to restart my laptop, log back in, freeze, and then repeat the whole process.

    PLEASE, someone help me out!!!

    BTW, please try to make your explanations as simple as possible, as I won't be able to understand all that high tech talk

    I'm looking to make a farmer to help farm +4 x8s in AE with my Elec/SD scrapper, Fire/Kin, or my SS/SD brute (I'll be switching between them). As the title says, it'll be used with only single origin enhancements, so I'm looking for something that performs really well without being depending on IOs. I don't want to make another one of the farmers I already have.

    I'm looking for the highest damage because defense is not an issue with the AE mission I'll be running (plenty of allies to get defenses and resistances high).

    Hi,

    I'm interested in making my first PvP toon. I've decided on Energy Melee and will probably go in Sirens' Call. I've narrowed my secondaries to /Nin or /WP but I'm not sure which to choose.

    If you could tell me which would be better, that'd be great.

    I'm also looking for a build for whichever one. Not a cheap build, but nothing with a bunch of purples.

  21. Hey,

    I'm looking for a Fire/Thorn dominator build that I can use for farming. I found JJDRAKKEN's build but I'm having a little trouble making it fit more of my style. After farming with a Spines/Dark scrapper, I would think that Fling Thorns and Thorn Burst would be essential for farming, but this build does not have either. I would also like to pick up Hot Feet. I have no need for Recall Friend. The trouble I'm having is correct slotting if I were to pick up those new powers and drop other ones that I may not need.

    So in total I'd be willing to drop: Smoke, Bonfire, (maybe) Cinders if I can get enough recharge for Flashfire to come back quickly, Acrobatics (I can get -KB IOs), Swift or Hurdle (don't need both) and Recall Friend.

    I want to pick up: Hot Feet, Fling Thorns, Thorn Burst, and Super Speed instead of Super Jump

    How important is soft-capping smashing/lethal on a dominator? I know this build is not.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    WM/EA build?

    Here's my WM/EA build. I'm wondering what you guys think about it. I built for recharge and soft-capped smashing and lethal damage. I don't really care about it falling shy of the energy soft-cap, as I won't be fighting energy damagers. I'm gonna try to use this guy as mostly a soloer who can farm. I picked up Conserve Power in case using so many attacks so quickly might wear down my endurance.
