There is no problem that cannot be solved by throwing purple Mids builds at it!

Now if only those damn jerkhackers would let me purple my warshade...

You could take Stealth at 28 and then Invisibility at 30. With a LoTG proc in that, it would boost you all the way to 127.5% (197.5% with hasten).

    That's a 90 second recharge on inferno.

    Wewt!
My fire/em on live runs a 126%ish recharge global pre-hasten.

    it is a waste IMO.

I also slot mule tons of stealth pool/cold epic powers to get gamblers/purple sets, and its very impressive to have my nuke come back that quickly, but using the nuke actually lowers my damage rate overall.

I have my second build slotted for capped ranged def, and 50% smash/lethal resist- plus power surge for OH SH*T moments to bump resists up further, and this build is far more versitile then the maxed rech build.

The max recharge build does shine on teams with tanks, but for most every other situation the ranged def build is more suited. I only have around 30% global rech on the ranged def build, and NO nuke, but the attack chain is fluid, and the AoE damage is very consistent- with no wasted overlap in recharge on the big AoE powers.

Its your call on how to build, but having a 5 gambler/5 purple set max recharge build sitting unused while I use my second build makes me go...hmmmmn, and wonder if it was all really necessary in the first place.

That said, i keep all my goodies in the +rech build, and use it on big teams for farming massive lewtz when the mood strikes, but its mostly just a showoff build.

That the exact opposite of what I'd do.

Leaving rage on auto makes for wasted rage, and tons of inopportune crash times- rage is a combat only click for me. I leave PB on auto so it remains fully stacked as much as possible to keep my debuff resist up, and mez protect on full time even during travel etc.

Rage on auto is detrimental exept in certain situations where you want the double stack damage and are willing to trade the second crash timer for it, which is not too often in my case.

    Kindle rocks.

I love mine. Sure beats having bookshelves taking up space all over the house...

    And perfect on flights.

I think the Fire armors self heal may recharge a little faster. Fire armor will give much higher Fire resist, electric gives overdone energy resist.

Electric also has a really good "god mode" power, coupled with a very bad crash.

Only drawback to taking electric is the kb protection doesn't work in air... which I find slightly amusing and slightly annoying, super-jumping through FF or PI and getting knocked down by Crey Sharpshooters.

It was funny the first 2 times...
I dont even take grounded on my /elec. I just slot 2-3 -KB IOs instead+ use combat jumping for Immob protection. You really dont miss much from grounded: small resist #s (on scrapper/brutes) end drain resist, which is capped without grounded already, and KB resist that only works on the ground... at least I dont miss it.

I 4 slot it with: 2 recharges, Theft of Essense Healing/Recharge, Theft of Essense +endurance proc

I've got a lot of global accuracy and I tend to use aim before DP... otherwise I'd probably add accuracy in it.

Doesnt the theft proc give your TARGET the end boost?

    Claws/elec?

Yeah Clawl/Elec is a fun build.

Getting spin at 6 is awesome, and follow up at 8 makes for fast levelling. Get some decent recharge, and slot energize for full heal/rech and this set is pretty survivable.

I also used tough/weave to get around 60% S/L resist 75% energy, 40%ish to fire/cold/psi, leaving a hole only in Neg (26%) and Tox (0%) plus around 23% def melee from sets.

Unlimited endurance, complete end drain resistance, and pretty decent regen/heal work great with the mid-level resists /Elec offers, plus you get Lightning reflexes...which is awesome.

I only have about 75% +rech on my build(inc LRs 20%), but I used a ton of +hp buffs to help my regen, and claws has a lot of mitigation when needed as well. Its quite durable, and fast playstyle-wise.

Might not be FOTM, but its got a lot to offer in the fun department.

Leaving skaven in Tackle zones= lots of dead rats. Hows the computer game? I havent tried it yet, just tabletop oldschool.

Anyhoo, I got 2-3 levels on a couple old toons, and grinded influ mostly on my 50s...as usual over DXP weekend I only had time to play for a few hours.

But it was cool that they didnt shut it off until Monday night, I got some bonus time in after work that day too.
  11. If I can get an uninterrupted window of time agreement out of my wife for that night I would love to join in on my 41 cold/ice Defeder, or im happy to bring along whatever other AT you might need/want and exemp.

Im trying real hard to make more time to play this month, but its a struggle to get blocks of uninterrupted times... damn RL.

It was not fun to you.

They stopped using AE because the reward was taken away, and for some the reward IS the fun.

Now then, where was my stick...this dead horse needs more beating.
  13. Sigh...I remember the days of deleting this recipe after quick Katies...
  14. Adam said he wants his rib back.
  15. Are you going to sell/buy it?

If not...how is this a market question?
  16. Joo broke the game.

The good Dr. invited ole Slim here to a TF team over the weekend... making him both very nice, and a glutton for punishment for putting up with me for a couple hours.

    Guess so.

in that case, my dream team is:

    1)me
    2)filler 1
    3)filler 2
    4)filler 3
    5)filler 4
    6)filler 5

    8)filler 7

oh wait... its i16... nvm my dream team is:

    1)me.
  20. Heh, the exact opposite of me. I have inumerable 50s, many of which only have thier original costume slot...

I really only enjoy playing my 50s nowdays. I havent started a new toon in over a year. I find once a toon hits 22 it doesnt take long till 50, but if I cant take the grind to 22 on a toon, it probably will never make it at all.

I do have a few stranded in the high 40s because they are kind of redundant powerset toons which I already have one or more 50s with the same primary or secondary. Most of the time I'd rather just play my IO'ed 50s instead of grinding out the last few levels, and then having to grind out building all the IO sets I need to finish them.
  21. Head hurts from attempting to read OP.
  22. Damn. My wife always wants flowers, new shoes, or jewelry. I need to get her to rethink her priorities... if all she wanted was a new lvl 50 villian I would count myself lucky.
  23. Minion and Lieutenant Freakshow entities in the level 20-38 range have had their XP multiplier lowered to 0.95.

    - copy/paste from todays i16 release notes.

This is the only note regarding freaks and xp...does this mean the lvl 39+ versions are still giving the same xp as before?

I am confused. I thought it was the higher level range freaks that were being xp nerfed...

So what does this mean for lvl 50 freak missions?

    Windowed Mode

Doooooo Eeeeet. Work is overrated. I spend my time here on the forums, but if I had CoH installed on my lappy I could be much more unproductive!

Just play with the sound down, and a "boss button" to exit the window quick.

Who knew "work" could be so fun?
