Thanks for the link. The Everquest ding sound brings back a lot of memories, heh.

  4. Saw this one a year ago or so on Virtue, thought it was pretty well done. Can't quite remember her name, though I think it fit her costume/looks

  5. Sunwind of course, my Fiery Melee/Willpower/Fire Scrapper. She is the only one I play these days.

As for others, hard to say at this point. That will depend on what is needed to do, how long it takes, and most importantly, what the benefits are. Since I rarely play alts, I will probably not take them to Incarnate levels though. Maybe Blitzwolf, my Huntsman/Bane.

Though for Sunwind I will jump through all hoops the Devs will put into this system regardsless how they are set up, I second previous posters in that I hope it won't be a heavy forced teaming thing.

One of the main reason I am still here is the openess in the reward/content systems. You can raid for Hamidon-Enhancer, or buy them, you can raid the mothership for Vanguard merits, or you can get them yourself by defeating Rikti. You can run TF all day in big teams for merits, or you can get them yourself by doing story arcs or buy the stuff directly. Sure, the team based rewards are usually (much) better/faster, you do however still have the option to approach it as you like.

As I love to solo myself most of the time, but enjoy running a TF or a raid from time to time it works out perfectly for me as it is now. So hopefully the Devs wil follow previous approaches on how rewards (in this case the Incarnate system) are attainable, as in there are always options, solo, teamed, raid.

I know I am not alone with my opinion here.

Lots of good advice in this thread, but this one sticks out to me. If all you want in live is to have success and a great career, I suppose this is correct. But true love > everything else. For me, anyway *shrug*.
  7. Good luck A_C. Though we haven't met much, I do remember doing an LGTF and an ITF with you, formed from VU. I remember it because I was pleasently surprised how nice you were, compared to some of your forum posts. I admit I was expecting something else

Also thanks for your Nin guide, helped me a bit when I made my DM/Nin Stalker.

I can't really give you any college advise (that you should take anyway), but I wish you good luck. Stay true to yourself.

Odd. Last two nights (saturday -> sunday, and sunday -> monday) I had my Widow in a Paper mission, resting in front of an enemy, working on the 10million damage badge for the accolade. Both sessions were about 7-8 hours, and it was still running just fine when I checked in the morning.

If it logs you out, and is not just a mapserver, there are some other variables missing here, since for me it seems to work as always. I wasn't in TF/Ouroboros mode either, just a regular Papermission from Grandville.
  9. I am Skydance, and I am a Scrapper, always. Regardless of which Archetype I actually play, which has caused some difficulties in the past if I am on my Defender or Controller

Though Sunwind (FM/WP) is as close as it gets to a 'main' character, in the past months I've been only playing my VEATS, a Bane / Huntsman dual build, and my Night Widow, favoring their team friendlyness a tiny bit over Scrappers. Come 'Going Rogue' both will probably switch sides (neutral if that is an option).

I guess I am 'I want it all player'. I want great looking costumes, a fitting concept, great visuals in the powers and a great performance numberwise. These sometimes conflict a bit, but as Geko pointed out, much of the min/max discussion here is on a very very high scale, so I usually find a happy medium between looks-concept-performance There's always a bigger fish, but as long as I have at least 'RWZ-Challenge' effectivness *), it's all good.

*) 50% or higher success rate in my book.

<Edit> I am not really known for anything, as I really don't post much. Just thought I'd say hello. So, "Hello"
  10. Did you know one of the first MA arcs was a silly thing about some Broadsword Scrappers on a planet called Zeist. Yeah...
  11. Voting for Lousy_Day. I love the colours, it's something I could see having framed on the wall, really great looking piece of art.
  12. Blitzwolf getting some new googles

Though I am not too sure about the hair yet, still playing around with that, might use a different one, since I don't like the Top Knot too much. We'll see.

    (Original Blitzwolf)

Nice one. I love stuff like this, written from the other side I remember back in EQ a few ones like this, where raid targets talking among themselfes, looking at the players.

    Tough decision

The one with the more Vet time/rewards. Levels can be gained easily.
  19. Could it be that your Firewall is requesting you to confirm CoH accessing the internet, but the pop-up dialgue isn't visible because you are stuck in the fullscreen of CoH?

I had that issue a few years ago with ZoneAlarm. The game would start loading, and then just get stuck. In the background (though I didn't see that), ZoneAlarm was waiting for a reply if, or if not CoH.exe should be allowed internetaccess.
