I'm sticking by my 18 months prediction, but it could be 12 months (we'll see it Spring or Fall 2010).
WoW just announced it's expansion -- we won't see that for 18 months (Lich King was 18 months from announcement to release)
I don't see CoH doing any differently... -
If I say, 'please may I get into the closed beta,' in this thread, will I get in? I need practice for the Going Rogue closed beta.

I think it just shows the things that require serial numbers -- server transfers are just straight-up transactions without a serial number.
Perks I believe are the Booster Packs... -

Mine look similar to everyone else, except for the dates... I also spend way too much on this game. -
I'm hitting 63 months today... hopefully I'll be in the first wave of tier 1...

Would there be Global name conflicts? I thought they were Global, meaning, across every server (EU and US) -- You would see conflicts in the MA if there were any... wouldn't we? Isn't MA global?

As a few others have said, I would really like to be in the closed beta testing for Issue 16.
I did my best to log in and test and give feedback for Issue 15 (with the schedule I had at the time)... so hopefully that will help my cause.
And also I'd like to be given a slot as compensation for missing the Double XP weekend coming up (you all picked the only weekend of the entire year where I'm out of town).

Weather changes would be great -- it would help with the constant gray of the Rogue Isles... independence Port... Kings Row... etc... -
I think there is room for some more open world missions in CoH -- there is a little bit, but not enough.
I agree with others that KS (kill stealing) and camping aren't fun, but there is something to be said about doing missions in the open world -- it's easier to run into others who are doing your mission and start a team that way (to avoid kill stealing).
More variation on the mission doors would be a good thing for CoH... -

I hope you're wrong and we can have MMs running around normal Paragon City (for example)... having a mirrored city will spread the population out and it may just turn into a ghost town.

1. Animal Spirit Control (Controllers/Dominators) - I was thinking that an Animal set for MMs might be good, but it doesn't really sound too Mastermind-like to be the evil ruler of a band of critters. Although I do like the idea of a squirrel version of Gang War. Anyway, I reworked it into a possible Controller powerset. Most of the controls would work like temporary pet summons. You want to hold someone, you activate the power "Bear Hug" and it holds the enemy with a ghostly-green image of a bear embracing them. You want to disorient someone, so you summon the spirits of birds to constantly wizz about their head. Stuff like that.
2. Elementals (Mastermind) - Basic premise being that you summon elementals as your pets. We already have some current in-game options for this. Look at the Magmite Lords in the Hollows. Or at simple ole Fire Imps.
-Minions: Fire Imp models with Fire Blast powers
-LTs: Magmite Lord or Devouring Earth Sentry models with Stone Melee powers.
-Boss: Elemental Storms from the Shadow Shard "models" to provide energy damage and some control.
A little bit of damage from fire, smash, and energy. It'd go great with /Storm too!

So far, in this thread, these are two sets that I would really like to see... and it sounds like something they could implement with the Mastermind pets being versions of things already running around.
