Quote:Lol well I told him to make her look adorable with a hint of crazy. The butterfly was just something he felt would do it justice.I really like what he did with the coloring (especially the blue light coming in from the right) and this piece makes me chuckle,
she looks a bit crazy (in a good way heh) biting her lip... is she playing hackeysac with a butterfly?
She totally reminds me of the crazy axe girls from medievil (One of the greatest campy type games ever). They giggle all playfully as they try to hack you to pieces with axes :P Then there's the old ladies with cleavers and frying pans...

Slitherslice was created in a secret experimental lab in Praetoria. Coles program was originally intended to be in effect to create supersoldiers who could infiltrate and crush the resistance, and further down the line Primal Earth.
His plan backfired however when he began to create humanoids rather than just programmable robots. Slitherslice is one of these humanoids. The result of a splice between a cobra and a superhuman, Slitherslice is truly a weapon of potential destruction.
Unfortunately for Cole, Slither and a number of other super-humanoids decided they shared the same mentality as the resistance and promptly staged a mutiny in the laboratory they were in. It was a vicious battle as there were still many super-humanoids that were loyal to Cole and fought for him. Slither and nearly ten others managed to escape the lab fight Cole to their dying breath even today.

Slitherslice is the Praetorian counterpart to Slithershot (will pm you a link). She is just as shirtless but instead of being an ambivalent villain, she is a desperate hero. She does the funky resistance talk whenever possible :P

That totally looks like a deformed Cactaur

To play the devils advocate somewhat, I'd be tickled if there was something that let you start a level 1 character with all power choices (Or maybe just half of them... something, I don't know) available at level 1 (They'd all start with the default 1 slot and you'd still get slots at the same normal rate as you level up, or they could be spread out thinner to cover the loss of powers at certain levels). That way everything would be scaled as it already does in the power selection screen (ie "Show detailed information"). You'd still have to level all the way up to 50, but you'd still get a huge benefit of being able to use better powers right out of the gate even though they're weaker than they would usually be at the level you'd normally get them.
Would it be an advantage? You bet, but I do agree to an extent that the first 15-20 or so levels feel very sluggish. Could you make the argument that new heroes shouldn't have a ton of things at their disposal? Sure could! But I'd much prefer to have 5 very weak attacks at my disposal rather than 1 okay attack and brawl so I'm not just standing there getting wailed on and feeling helpless because I have no other powers to use. -
A new art is up on my DA page... a very interesting take on Heather.
It's nsfw though so not posting here. -
Yeah, sorry about having to leave early but it was good fun

I personally don't care if leveling speed was increased even further.
Free to play is not happening though. I would gather the rest of this community up, pass out the torches and pitchforks, and rise up as one to slay anybody who was behind that idea if it came true (barring some crazy circumstances) :P -
I met Doctor Mousey in the Rikti War Zone.. and she's just as adorable as the art =P

Quote:do eeetWOW Henry that looks great so far! That ice effect is pretty cool how did you manage it? Cant wait to see it finished.
I've had some people asking me for commissions, not sure what to say I never thought anyone would like my little duck faced creations well enough for a commission. So any advice would be appreciated. -
Honestly I'd like something like this for everyone, not just a vet reward but I'd settle for that I suppose
-
Or they could just make it so the presents only open for people who are level appropriate to the zone somehow... like they do with paper missions.
Low level people could still do the exact same thing and leave mobs all over the place though so... -

I will do my best to be there if I can. If I forget shoot me a tell on my global...chances are I'll be online unless RL assaults me. I have tons of alts so I can totally grab whatever we need.

I've been playing for awhile... so I have no idea.

The only portable gaming system feasible for CoX is a laptop, and that's what I play on :P

Quote:Now that looks interesting. What's your global so I can shoot you a tell sometime?

Quote:Thanks! ^_^ I don't want to bother anybody though so I'll just post updates for new NSFW pics if I get any and they can go to my DA page if they wanna see them (think I have maybe one left on the way).Sensei your stuff is now clearly marked NSFW and you said you cleared your posts with a GM already.
Personally I don't think you owe anyone an apology. If people don't want to see nudity they needn't click the links.
P.S. I'm liking both your new pieces. Each has a different take on the new organic face and both gave it a cool effect.
Nice catches.

I've always thought about suggesting this myself and always forgot to actually do it...
I support this 100%. There is nothing more annoying about a respec than having to clear 6 trays of powers. -
Okay those are awesome. 10/10
I specially love his take on the spider crab claws.
