The game has become pure lag for me with only a few moments of clarity inbetween. This has made it completely unplayable. VIP head start indeed.

Oh gee, another day of intermittent lag spikes. -_-; Why am I not surprised?

Yes. I've actually gotten lag off and on every week since one of the stability patches sometime a month ago, but now after i21, it's just gotten absolutely terrible.

My game has become riddled with lag spikes for the last two days, when prior to i21, it only occured about once a week and that started after one of the "stability patches" from last month. Something is seriously wrong.

Okay, this is annoying.

This is the first time I have ever had lag two days in a row. If this is the way it's going to be from now on, I have to seriously reconsider continuing my subscription to this game and spend my money somewhere else.

Fix it, or I vote with my money.

All I bought were the barbarian bundle, the backpack, beam rifle, and rocket board. That brought me only to paying $5 for the extra points to cover my expenditure.

And I'm fine with that, as that's all I need for now. A lot of items on the Market seem suspiciously like money traps.

Lag was crazy for me today, although I've been experiencing intermittent lag over the course of the month. Some dayas the game has been playing fine, and then at least once a week, bam, a day of lag.

Netgraph 2 looks like the spikey green ones Scharrode's posted. Ping goes as high as 500-something.

Nice that I've finally found a thread with similar problems.

Anyone else get him reset with i21? No, not "reset" like someone switching sides and encountering the "other" Ouroboros, but really reset as returned from inactive contacts to active with his blue bar still full.

At first I had thought the devs had stealthed in some new content with him, but no... he tried giving me the same first mission to the arc I've already played through with the character in question.

I reiterate, this was not because of side-switching because the character I was on... has never switched sides! (Unless someone's been playing my characters without my knowledge, which is extremely... doubtful.)

I have yet to check my other 50 to see if his Mender Ramiel has reset as well.

But seriously, this shouldn't happen! Now that character has a reactivated Mender Ramiel with that damn storybook icon, all ready for an arc she's already been through.

Just a warning, this "fix" takes nigh forever to work. I've been sitting here for a bloody hour and a half trying and trying again and it just finally worked.

What happened to them?

Well, I'm beginning to think it really does have something to do with my connection to the game. As I've made clear earlier, it doesn't happen all the time. Most days, CoH is purring like a kitten, and then on the occasional day (like today) it lags on me. It's a very recent occurence too, since it pretty much just started early last month.

Okay, having a look at my Defrag, it seems I've always had it on an automatic schedule, so a fragmented drive is not the issue. In fact, the last time it ran was yesterday.

And the game is lagging again today. Any other, REAL solutions, people?

Anyway, wow... Arcanaville... that response. Only one word sums that tirade up succinctly.

While it's never left for me, it's been especially nasty today.

I'm not going to download some strange software I've never heard of to do something that my computer already has a tool for.
