The new music is great!
It's awesome - it feels very heroic now when you log in

I have to respecfully disagree - I really don't like the new music. The hero fanfare felt heroic. This music feels like it escaped from a star trek movie.

Wait...the new music isn't pulled straight from the nuTrek movie?
That being said, I do like it.
I find the new music fairly reminiscent of the music in Galactic Civilizations II. Pretty cool.
I'm loving it too. The old music for heroes was frankly boring, really way too subtle to carry across much impact.
That being said, I am going to miss the old villain character creation music, which was so over the top EEEEEEEEEEEEEVIL that it made me want to start laughing maniacally every time I heard it.
I'd like them to use a version of the old Hero log-in music someplace else on the game - the start of it's already in Perez Park, but not the middle or end parts.

+1 for the music, really got me 'in the mood' for some justice.

I tend to linger in character creation for quite some time, tweaking the costume around until I get it just to my liking. (Then I generally don't mess with it thereafter- I'm not a Bat-Cold-Repellent-Costume kind of guy.)
So I got to hear the new music quite a bit today. And I want to thank whoever made it, because it is awesome! Really good work, guys. It still keeps the themes of the original music, but improves on them in almost every way.

Also: Six years of casual play begins to look an awful lot like one year of hardcore play.
