Can I see a screen shot of this out of curiosity? I just wanna know what this looks like.

Quote:Arachnos is also Not a Nemesis Plot (although he's done his best to infiltrate it). That's an exaggeration
There was Mender Silos and Ouroboros, and the second Rikti invasion - things like Cimerora are almost totally Nemesis-free.
In any case, I'm surprised there are people who dislike Lord Nemesis and his bazillion plots and contingency plots to conquer the world. That's the hallmark of an excellent villain. -
Not "redundant"; contradictory. Redundancy is duplicatively repeatable.
-
It's a comic book based game. Junk science isn't new in the genre.

Yeah, as Obsidious stated, this is very much a known issue. I've had them do the same exact thing to me constantly now after Issue 16. It seems to have gotten worse lately with the recent patch that came out a couple days before Halloween. When Issue 16 first came out, occasionally one or two pets would get stuck at the elevators; now they all get stuck.
It's deeply frustrating as I really enjoy playing Masterminds. -
So... pets and allies that you gain in various missions apparently will not attack objects. I spent a half hour to an hour on my tanker pounding away at a meteorite in Atlas Park while Mender Lazarus just stood and watched. Lazy *** Luddite....

Some of the earlier stuff wasn't all that great to start with, and Portal Corp was introduced in one of the earlier Issues. Typically the stuff that comes after Issue 6 starts seeing improvement.

Quote:They seem to have gotten worse as well, lately. Until recently since I-16, sometimes only one pet would get stuck. Now they ALL get stuck.I know they are two different problems; that's why I only quoted his comment about the one. As for the elevator bug; outside of dismissing and resummoning, sometimes I've found that switching between floors can fix it. Sometimes not. And when it does work it's fairly time consuming; they run in and out of the elevators repeatedly until they settle down.

Quote:It's because people secretly like being killed by pigs. Why do you think there's so much doom and gloom hype around swine flu?I'm trying out Aion for the first month, and this isn't a compare and contrast thread, but I realised today something that CoH does really well.
The tutorial and the early levels don't have us defeating rats or pigs or insects, but humans (or zombies or robots) with at least the appearance of active sentience. I think this avoids the new player thinking 'I just got killed by a pig? and quitting in annoyance.
There's also the 1player=3mobs thing, which also helps us think we're uber right from the start.
I just can't understand why CoH doesn't have 7 million players. It's just so good! Why can't everyone see the truth!

Quote:Yeah, I've been grumbling over this one quite a bit. It's annoying that your henchmen decide to just switch names while you're zoning.
Also, is it just me or does their problem with elevators seeming to get worse? -
-
That's odd. My mercs have always scattered when set on fire. But yeah, do what they said.
-
I've beaten this mission twice solo. The trick? Get yourself obliterated by the Ballista, then he'll (hopefully) wander off into the hall and stay there. Use a Revive to bring yourself back and sneak past him with Ghost Widow. It's worked for me and is interestingly the only strategy I know that calls for your death.
-
Another feature of this bug, people appearing as someone else's name on the team, thus you'll see the same name twice. It's truly unusual.
-
Yeah, Dominators have the nice feature of instantly refilling their endurance bar after inflicting enough damage on their enemies. Certainly useful when you get stuck in an energy rut.
-
I dunno, but I think he's going out of business.
-
They also seem to like to trade names (well, the lower tier pets do). My medics or arsonists, for example, will not always retain the name I gave them and boast the name of one of their two soldier/thug chums and the other pet runs around with the name for said medic or arsonist. It's annoying.

Y'know what? I'm going to dismiss yesterday as a fluke. It's been fine for months and it was fine all day today, ergo it had to be one of those quirks of technology. I'm only going to begin worrying if it happens again.

Today my graphics card did something it hasn't done in months since downloading the hotfix. Yeah... it stopped responding. Is this normal or is something new happening?
