Recent Pet Problems

I have a lvl 30 zombie/FF MM and recently my pets have been causing me problems. For example, when i am inside a mission and all my pets are out and i come to an elevator i go through it and instead of all my zombies following me through they do very strange things such as come through behind me then run straight through a wall or just dissappear and reappear on the otherside of the elevator. Also, when i enter a different zone with them out, instead of having them appear with green nametags and on my pet window they have blue/white/yellow nametags and do not appear on my pet window and i have no control over them at all. I am unable to dismiss them to summon more pets and i can't give them orders so all they do is follow me around and do nothing. I would like to know if anyone else is experiencing these problems and/or have a solution.

This is a currently known issue with a supposed fix in earlier patch notes.

Ahh i see, and when you say supposed fix you mean they think they fixed it correct? Could i also get the date in which they posted the issue in the patch notes?

That is an interface problem I understand; you can't control them or see them in the pet window, but they still count for things like Supremacy and Bodyguard. The workaround is to use a targeted buff by clicking directly on the pet; a targeted heal, a shield, one of the upgrades; etc. That gives you control of the pet again.

Exactly. If you're a traps Mastermind train your FF gen and resummon it. There's a little surprise in store for you.

Actually I think there are TWO problems here - the one Invincible_Ninja mentioned and the one you are talking about, I have actually seen both. The problem you brought up above is specific to zoning - when you leave a mission map (click on the exit or the exit button) or enter another zone one or more of your pets will not show up in the pet window. In this bug your pets follow you properly but don't respond to pet commands. I have found that zoning somewhere else (into a new mission or into another zone such as oroborous) fixes the issue, although the targeted buff trick also sounds good.

However, the problem invincible mentioned happens when you are in a mission map and you use an elevator to go to another 'floor'. Your pets still show up properly in your pet window but they don't all 'exit' the elevator properly - they appear to be drifting freely around the map as if they have become dis-joined from the map or something. So far the only way I have resolved this issue is to dismiss and re-summon them (which makes it clear that this different from the first bug as you can't dismiss the pets that don't show up in your pet window or issue any pet commands to them). I have tried using a team teleport power to resolve this issue to no effect although I haven't tried the targeted buff trick, although these two bugs look different enough I suspect it wouldn't work.

EDIT: Hit post to soon so corrected some spelling errors and finished post.

I know they are two different problems; that's why I only quoted his comment about the one. As for the elevator bug; outside of dismissing and resummoning, sometimes I've found that switching between floors can fix it. Sometimes not. And when it does work it's fairly time consuming; they run in and out of the elevators repeatedly until they settle down.

They seem to have gotten worse as well, lately. Until recently since I-16, sometimes only one pet would get stuck. Now they ALL get stuck.

I find that they almost always follow you from the elevator correctly if you set them to passive before you enter.
