    So I just recently got a brand new laptop. I have a VIP account for this game and would really like to be able to play it on this laptop but the trouble is that the staged download that you see from the character selection screen seems to never make any progress. Stage 1 has already been completed and therefore i can use character creation and yesterday stage 2 was completed so i went ahead and created a new character to put him in tutorial to see how well the game run. Then when i got back to character selection Stage 3 was stuck at 0% and so after about 30 minutes of no progress I decided to exit the game. So i tried again today and now it's stuck at 0% on stage 2. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Sorry if this is a noob question I am slightly confused on the entire soft capping system so say instead of soft capping all the categories like smashing/lethal/fire/cold etc. I just soft capped melee/ranged/aoe? Would that basically cover everything? perhaps like this:

    Hi, i was thinking of creating a Fire/Kin and i would like to see how some other people have built their fire/kins and use that information to help create my own. And no, im not going to use this toon to PL people.

    Right, i was aiming for as much damage i could get and i wasnt really worried about my resistance or defense and price isnt much of a factor. To play on this im going to have to rely heavily on good tanking and im completely fine with that. I already have a built fire/mm blaster that has little to no resistance or defense anyways and he plays just fine with very few deaths.

    Ok, it will be made for teaming because they do very little damage and i will take anything with IO sets. I looked at your guide but it doesn't seem to have any builds using IO sets except for the build created for maximum rech so I would like strong holds and good debuffs basically.

    I am starting an earth/rad soon but i don't have a build. I have never been good at creating builds so if anyone with a strong earth/rad build could post it that would be awesome.

    I have already got my tank to level 14 and so far i am not to worried about recovery. i have DOs on it at the moment and wont put IOs on until i hit level 32 to put on the lvl 35 IOs.

    Did all that slotted the three attack powers with Makos: acc/dam then took out the Dark Watchers: tohit/recharge and tohit/recharge/end and replaced them with numina: heal/end/recharge and +recovery +regen leaving me with 596% regen

    I changed the build around a bit and would show you if i new how to do the thing where you put the long thing that you copy and paste into mids to see but i dont. if you could tell me how i would show you.

    Well, I am not going to remove parts of the RF sets because that brings down the effectiveness of the power itself. As for the RA, i took the end off of High Pain Tolerance because that is an auto power and the bonus isn't worth it but now i am stuck with a lvl 5 slot and don't know what to do with it. Also there is an error in what you would do. the level of the slots prohhibits me from two slotting CJ and SJ and still 4-slotting kick.
