Magnets, how do they work?

Quote:I see a respec in your future. So, I have a DP/dev blaster, who's just made 10, and hasn't yet gotten the first attack. At any given point, there's always been something I wanted more. (Caltrops, targeting drone, the first part of my Stamina tax, swap ammo...)
On some damage-dealing characters, I've found that the first attack was pretty skippable, in that by 15 or so you have enough recharge and enough other attacks and/or things to do that you really don't need it. Is that true for DP/dev blaster, or should I be taking that anyway? -
Quote:I'm seriously hoping for "in character". Otherwise, I'd advise therapy. This guy loses a lot of his credibilty by the fact he's using his personal computer to post on an internet website dedicated to an online game.
If he's being 'in charictor'... interesting viewpoint. If he's really trying to convince us this is his view of the world... sorry... go live under a tree somewhere or I don't buy it. -

::spins around causing the Rookery to appear as the interior of a crashed Rikti ship::
::The various chefbots and breakfast devices have lovely glowing blue edging, the walls are pillared and very Rikti-ish::
::All the donuts have glowing blue frosting on them. As well, the tiny marshmallows in the hot chocolate are a glowing turquoise color::
All is well...
((Yeah, I was at the M&G in NYC.)) -
Quote:I am pretty much in the same situation. While I'm not involved with your group, I have been reading this thread with interest. I'm pretty sure that I understand the issues that you are going through and I wish you and your family all the best in a tough time. If you need to, please PM me and we can talk.Long story short, my father is in the hospital, I go every night after work and don't get home until late.
Warmest regards,

I avoid stereotypical characters. So you might say that I stereotypically avoid stereotypes.

Hey, man,
Since the search function doesn't seem to work, I'm calling out the guy from Texas with the cute girlfriend and the black cowboy hat that I met recently at the Meet and Greet in NYC. He was last seen giving much grief to Black Pebble. Get back to me here. If you dare. -
I met a bunch of folks there and as I warned most, I am so bad at names that I forget them almost instantly. So if you remember an old guy with a gray beard wearing a black shirt and khaki pants, please say hello here.
Avatea and War Witch are extremely nice people, as well as being blindingly beautiful in real life.
Black Pebble is incredibly cool. He brought me around introducing me to people including (I hope this is right, like I said, bad memory) Ghost Falcon who is also incredibly cool.
Meeting people responsible for my favorite MMO was like a dream come true. Being able to sit down and talk with them is... well... just incredibly incredible.
I know a lot of y'all are jaded types, but for me the meet and greet was Christmas and my birthday rolled up and frosted with awesome.
And then I got hugs from War Witch.
::sigh:: -
The Rikti costume power is so incredibly cool. I put a character in inside of the Resistance underground base, facing the entry door, juggling magic balls. People would run by heading to their contact and then come running back to stare for a bit, no doubt confused, then go about their business.

Post meet stuff:
First and most important. I met War Witch. She hugged me. Four times. Yeah that's right, multiple hugs from War Witch. I almost swooned.
Second, Black Pebble actually took time from his busy schedule to take me around and introduce me to a bunch of people. I am not worthy.
Avatea is really tall. And she was giving away stuff. Thou shalt not give her or her mods grief anymore.
I am sure that there are people that I have not mentioned here. Sorry, I am really tired and there was much drinking done. Did I mention that you got a drink ticket and the bar had top shelf stuff like Makers Mark? So you got it free? And then the drinks you bought were cheap?
Did I mention the tons of swag that was also free? Besides the code for the in game costume there were Lineage t-shirts and buttons and light up buttons and glowy things and flashing buttons and and and...
Hugs from War Witch.
::sigh::
People won cool video cards in the raffle.
Everyone at the hotel was incredibly nice. And...
Hugs from War Witch... ::sigh:: -
Will we need an actual convention ticket for the meet and greet? I can only afford one, and that's Saturday, so I won't have one for today.
How early should we get there to guarantee admission? -
Ice patch and rain of fire + AOE is a beauty to behold.
-
The little legs on the back of my G15 broke off too. I glued the caps from a couple of two liter bottles to it. Perfect height.
-
Yeah, I often get an extra power tray in the upper left on some chars when I first log in.
-
Now that you mention it, yes!

FYI hovering at ground level allows both acid mortar and poison trap to be deployed. You don't have to turn it off.

Quote:Can these co-exist?
1: Heavy RP (This is a must!) - However that is to say not really downer "OMG the worlds going to end!" emo rp but rather just that there is always RP going on.
6: NO DRAMA! - This probably should have been number one on this list but you know I consider it a given. -
-
Much good luck in your relationship. It is a great feeling, isn't it?
P.S. You'll be back. They always come back. -
Those demolitionists are starting to annoy me. Coming up behind me with those huge "jackhammers." Listen boys, enough is enough. Next time I want flowers, or candy. A bottle of wine or two. Maybe a nice dinner...
I swear the next enraged miner to try that had better be prepared to be an engaged miner! -
Actually just for fun I started a dark/dark last night. I got it up to lev 8 today in a couple of hours in Praetoria. I was shocked at how easy it was to do missions that seemed harder on my kin/sd scrapper.
Sitting in a group of six ghouls in the middle of a tar patch and barely getting scratched was amazing. Then after hover at lev 6, it's almost too easy. I haven't played a defender since around I6. This is a very different archetype these days. Very solo friendly.
