    Also...Arcanaville for the win!

So it is Floyd/Josh? Hm, both names are cool, so I don't really care.

As far as pie goes! Here is the list in order of favorite: Pumpkin (Homemade whipped cream if any topping), Lemon Merange sans merange, key lime. Otherwise Cheese Cake FTW.

    You seem to have forgotten:

Same here. And thanks for t3h sexay pics Ex!

Items of Powers seem pretty powerless. Theyd need to give a way better bonus so that players be willing to raid to get them.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Hey, wasn't there an IoP that gave Mag 3 Mezz protection or something? I don't see Items of Power replacing stuff like that...

Pohsyb must be let out of the box. I mean, you can't keep him in there forever, right? No seriously.

    My box is toasty
Why would I leave such a box?
    My box is wintry

Positron confirmed 2 new power sets are in Issue 11. They are Willpower and Dual Swords. The AT's that get the sets was not mentioned.

(only made it to page 40 out of 68)

    [/ QUOTE ]
Perhaps you should increase the posts you view per page to 50. I'm on page 14

Did you know...that Hami-O's originally enhanced aspects by 50% instead of 33.3%.
  8. ...that Energy Melee used to be called Power Punch?

...that the Power Pool category used to be called Etcetera?

Shape Shifting - Again, not knowing what it did...

    [/ QUOTE ]
I know it featured Claws and Wings, not sure about anything else though.

"Targetting Body" (upper left.) Yes, targeting specific areas, to a point.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Targeting different areas of the body also, or at least was supposed to, unleash different effects on the enemy. Targeting an enemy's head area gave a higher chance of stunning them, while targeting the lower body slowed their movement, so on and so forth.

    And moley kanole thread-necro.
  10. Did you know...

...that there used to be no attack rate debuff cap? You could lower someone's attack rate to infinity! This was changed with Issue 1 I think.

...that there was a bug that allowed someone to claim/socket a practically infinite number of enhancement slots in their powers? Since this was before ED, users could hit the damage cap (around 34,000 I believe) and two shot Hamidon?

...that in the very early stages of the game, Hasten could be made perma with only one or two allocated slots?
  11. Other than the dodge to the villains-in-PvP question, I think _Castle_ was straightforward and I appreciate what he said.

Thanks for another cool issue City Scooperinos.
  12. [ QUOTE ]
At this point, you may as well just remove the heavies entirely. You can't use them for pillbox captures, you can't use them to help knock over the signature characters, and players generally ignore them when PvPing. What good are they now?

It'll make the heavy badges unobtainable, but you can always just delete the badges too, since in this case player unhappiness seems not to matter too much.

  13. *gives Elixir of Life to awesome guide thread*

    [ QUOTE ]
Just a quick question, why the Defdebuf in call thugs? I know you can slot it but which of their powers/attacks has that secondary effect? All I see is knockback on all their stuff.

    [/ QUOTE ]
I'm guessing it's a bug. Many weapons like Ninja Blade, the Uzis, Broadsword, Assault Rifle carry along a defense debuff. Perhaps the pistols had this effect in beta?
  14. [ QUOTE ]
EDIT: Pown, Lighthouse says the invasions will be 24 hours.

    [/ QUOTE ]
    Indeed.
  15. Thanks for the little write-up HG!

We wanted to make our customers aware that we have a zero tolerance for any such activity that interrupts normal game play through the use of advertising “tells.” Accounts that engage these practices are quickly closed and banned from further activity in all NCsoft games.

    Thanks!

I had a question about the LGTF and how it spawns invasions: Does the Party makeup determine where the invasion happens? (A team of heroes cause an invasion in Paragon, a team of vilains cause an invasion in the Isles.) If the party make up doesn't matter then an idea would be villains chain running LGTF to grief the heroes in Paragon City. Even if one or two attacks hit the isles they really wouldn't care anyways.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Team makeup doesn't affect where the invasion happens. I still can't see this whole "Invasions grief people" angle for the life of me. You get no debt, you can run past Warships, bombs, hordes of players and Rikti. Going under bridges or in buildings protects you. They've done a lot to convenience players.
  18. [ QUOTE ]
To a previous poster... you only got 2 bombs each raid? You need to team up more, my friend.

    [/ QUOTE ]
My single-target level 50 Blaster is lucky to get five bombs, teamed or otherwise. In large zones you sometimes can't find any bombs, and some archetypes/powersets can't kill them when they do.

    [ QUOTE ]
In addition, we are planning on bringing the full-scale Invasion event back on random days throughout August and September, and possibly beyond.

I thought the art from this issue was absolutely amazing!

QFT. Raggedy Ann made me laugh a bit too.
  20. [ QUOTE ]
The AI in the Serpent Drummer Mission "Rescue the Diplomats" pretty much had my team fail the mission. The schmuck of an airforce general ran up beyond the team who was making our plans, drew his side arm and began to attack the cavern full of nemesis.

He then promptly died and we were ejected from the mission.

Aside from the lag issues, everything else seems to be going quite well.

    [/ QUOTE ]
You had better luck than I. When I did this mish C'Kelkah could take damage before being rescued. This wouldn't have been a problem if she wasn't being guarded by a Warhulk and 2 Gewehr Jaeger; masters of cones those muckers are. By the time I noticed her health going down, my Total Focus was dealing the final blow on Mr. Explosion. She died on the spot and I failed the mish.

Wondering how rikti in king's row at level 40 (white to me) will be handled by my low level chars.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Invading Rikti use the giant monster code. They are as white to you as they are to a level 4 or level 50.

As for the Invasion, Skyway City is the only area I've been able to acquire A Bombs, as every other zone loads long enough that I've missed the bomb phase entirely. The zoning is the only real issue I've been having with invasions, I was perfectly fine gameplay-wise when I got in.

Despite the lag, I think this is the best issue evar. Seeing a Rikti Crash Zone 8 on Victory, pounding Rikti bombs soloing (this close l------l to getting the accolade), and the scenery of invasions along with the new map tilesets is just phenomenal.
  22. [ QUOTE ]
no, its just an excuse to pad postcounts.

    [/ QUOTE ]
Personally, I think post padding is an art. For example, you can post a thread with something incorrect, so that when someone calls you on it you can post about correcting it.

Or better yet, chime in to say someone's signature is listing a Blaster as level 51.
  23. Nice guide IB.

I agree almost wholeheartedly on all of it.
