  2. my MM used to be nice and relaxing to solo vast hordes of mobs, but now I get irritated after 5-10mins of pets insisting on running into melee every second they can, so now my Widow is my fun time soloer, followed by my wp/dm tank (althought the killing can become slow and tedious after a while).

    If the pet melee AI issue gets fixed, then I'll be back on my MM having fun doing RWZ mishes again.
  3. I was really surprised at how sturdy my bot/dark was when we were playing around in the arena. I thought I would get wiped out pretty fast, but being a tankermind made it near impossible for the other players to kill me.

    Iirc I only ever had to summon the odd bot here or there during the course of a match - Fluffy on the other hand went down fast virtually every time I cast him.
  4. Primal Earth gets destroyed by Emp. Cole (or Vogons!), heroes and villains from Primal Earth manage to escape to Praetorian Earth just prior to destruction, we all live in a new expanded Praetoria, and Devs won't have to revamp any of the old stuff

    nope that's still around, allbeit less frequent. If it does happen though just type /release_pets

    just to note, it is entirely possible to get good mez resists from a /dark tankermind if slotted correctly - in fact, due to my TM being a badger, I had to respec out of my mez uniques to actually speed up the mez badges because they were taking so long to get

    hmm I just noticed that in the the build I threw up here I didn't change the slotting of Fluffy. He's much better for debuff slotting than healing.
  11. I call Fluffy all sorts of names when he decides to go on an aggro rampage due to being uncontrollable, but most of them are unrepeatable here

    I suppose someone would call him Candyfloss after changing his colour to pink

    WP/DM Build

    imo Indom Will and Mind over Body are over slotted, you only need to slap 1 lotg rech IO in Indom and maybe 3 or 4 slot MoB, so there's at least 4 free slots to begin with.

    If you're going to team a lot you will need 2 taunt IOs in RttC, otherwise you're going to end up with some of your team holding aggro as opposed to you.

    I'm guessing this is an i19 build?

    Ok, so it has less regen and not capped HP, but it does have S/L/N/E/F/C softcapped defense, decent amount of recharge and good damage/acc bonuses.

    I've always been a flyer, but it could be swapped with SJ (switching hover and CJ positions around)
  13. maybe its too hard to have multiple pet AIs running on a server. Afaik both pets and npcs share the 1 AI, having more might cause some issues?

    My guess is they've already tried this... or maybe it was a shortcut in the coding?
  14. dunno if the issue is related, but I have noticed the freebird stealth staying active for the ful 120secs or until I attack, when I toggle from fly to hover (the stealth being in fly).

    1. slot for -tohit where possible
    2. avoid Black Hole
    3. try to perma HT, and use it often
    4. slot TG for Acc Healing
    5. Slot TP for recharge - don't over slot

    EDIT: I also swapped out hover for CJ as I would think you'd be better off with it as an S/L def setup. I'd go ranged softcap if I was a hover corr - in fact mine is

    As an alternative thought. you could also swap out Piercing Rounds for Suppressive Fire, 4 slot with basalisk for more +rech, and add the free slot to assault for less end cost.

    imho:

    I think tar patch is overslotted - I only ever stick 1 recharge IO in it

    Darkest Night is underslotted - you can use 4 of the slots from tar patch in here then slot with dampend spirits or Dark Watcher's Despair

    Take out the 6th slots in Bullet Rain & Dual wield - only really need to use 5 out of the 6 purple IOs imo

    reslot Twilight Grasp with Theft of Ess, or Touch of Nictus, for the Acc check

    reslot Fearsome stare with Syphon Insight - it works better as a -tohit - The set bonus would mean you can save urself the 2+bill on the Glad armour Unique, so you could replace that with an LoTG +rech

  19. Another problem for hami and RWZ raids can be the "pet run into melee" bug/issue we currently suffer, hence the need to spam the "defensive follow" or "goto defensive" binds/macros, otherwise you could just find your entire raid consists of you constantly spawning pets, and nothing much else.
  20. Even without the lotg in pff, its still perma haste (119.5 secs according to Mids), but I'd probably replace it with vengeance anyway to keep the lotg in, just to squeeze out as much global recharge for DP
