5 slotted mine with Syphon Insight for the better overall values than Cloud Senses, which I chucked into Fearsome Stare
-
now that has great TV ad potential
-
Thought it was internet connections and gfx cards that got nerfed every patch
-
nice guide.
1 slight mistake though... Dark Servant cannot be slotted with Recharge Intensive Pet Sets. -

Quote:hmm this sounds like Windows 7 stealing focus (if you are using Win7 that is). The way to prevent this is to switch off Peek Desktop which is located on the far right of your taskbar next to the systray/clock.I'm having an issue with my GTX260 as well, although no crashing but occasionally during the game the whole screen would flash the desktop and back to the game for a brief second.
I knew it was my desktop because one time it lasted longer than a second and I could clearly see my desktop. This happens reguardless if I'm running full screen or windowed modes.
And yes, I am running 260.99 drivers as well. -

Have experienced weird npc AI on my SS/Inv Brute and WP/DM Tanker whilst running CoT missions. If I jump into a spawn with a mix of Demons, Guides and Casters and taunt the group, the Casters will fire off an initial attack then will proceed to just stand there doing nothing until I physically attack them. My taunt auras don't seem to have any effect either, and this has nothing to do with the aggro cap, because I've experienced this with only a group of 2-3 critters. It's always the Casters that stop attacking.

Quote:Yeah I had exactly the same problem with my Widow. Taking out Recluse wasn't too bad, but Statesman at the end of the VEAT arc was nigh impossible. It is auto-completable though fyiI'm not sure if it can be auto-completed or not. She didn't have too much trouble with Recluse, due to a combination of Demonic Aura, Mind Link, Elude, and a whole bunch of Good/Phenominal Luck inspirations (which is similar to how my db/elec brute tackled Recluse). So based on that I figured she'd have no problem with States either. Boy was I wrong.
I suppose I could get help to complete the mission, but I like the idea of my Widow being so bad-a** that she can take on Recluse and States single handed and win.
edit: I'd also like to note that I run with, at most, common IOs. Maybe (probably) a Widow with the right sets wouldn't have any problems. -
my favourite CoX... nay, MMO... event. It was the Xmas event that I started in, in '05, and what really brought me back into the game... love it

shouldn't it be 4D as it actually involves motion and therefore a timeline? 3D would just be a Magic Eye poster

.... no, it runs fine -
Get more people doing this and you'll have yourself "The Level Ones" SG

Quote:Nope, pets were definitely NOT feared or confused.I haven't seen any troubles like this on either of my MMs (Robot and Demon) that wasn't caused by them being Feared or Confused. Fear usually makes them behave that way and if they happen to run into another group while running scared when in Defensive mode, they'll start attacking when they get attacked.
Quote:And the melee thing... not seeing that either. Sure, sometimes they do close into melee because they have melee attacks. I tell them to heel and they come back to me, I tell them to attack again and they unload with flying death again. -
Quote:you sayin I'm an AE babyYou fighting rikti monkeys? LOL. The rikti monkey gas made 'em run all goofy-like. The other thought is that lit oil slicks will also make 'em run. This was another bug that was resolved and now has re-appeared.
If there's no monkey gas and no lit oil slick then I'm not sure what's going on.
I have only run one MM though the incarnate arc and didn't have any problems.
no this was DE. And even if it was monkeys, or any other "AoE make pet craaaazy" critter, pets always attacked the same spawn as me. This was a blatant "screw you I'm taking on the next batch" episode.
I think my pets are being controlled by AE PuGs -
Not only do pets still run into melee, but now they run past the spawn you're attacking into the next unaggro'd spawn and start attacking them. Had this happen more than once in a tip mission about 10mins ago. Oh and this case the unaggro'd spawn happend to be waaaay around the corner of a cave mission, and out of LoS. I saw the Assbot run around the corner whilst I was dealing with 7 or 8 DE, and moved to see where the hell he was going (all the while spamming /goto) and he ran right into the next spawn and opened fire on them. Happened again in a large cave room of 3 spawns (with quite a space between them so no chance of AoE overlap).
Thinking of changing all of my pets names to "Not a Tank, but frequently thinks it is" -
Pet AI lobotomised even more it seems...
so i20 = removing player pets by any chance? MM replaced with... Tweedledum and Tweedledee? Well as long as I can have a roflcopter hat I guess its ok -
Finally profit can be gained by all the badgers who threw millions away for the field crafter badge!
Been farming RWZ mishes and crafting heaps of recharge IOs and making about 200-700k per IO -
lucky we spawn at all
