I have two, an ice/ice blaster named Diciembre and my spines/dark scrapper Murcielago.
-
-
Considering I19 closed beta hasn't been release, its safe to assume that I20 is something big.
-
I have but considering I have Dark Consumption in my builds I find that slot can be used else where.
-
With the advent of Fitness becoming an inherent this is something like what my build will look like.

You would give your enemies endurance
-
Quote:I already have Body Mastery spec'd into my Dark/Shield. It would be nice to get a PPP power into my build though...Despite not being a huge fan of the Body Mastery pool, the powers in it are pretty handy for being useful with low or no slot investment. I suspect it might find its way into more builds now, though in some cases that might be done by giving up other epic pools, and thus EPP/PPP attacks. That could mean you move those slots into primary/secondary attacks, though, with potential implications on your ranged or AoE options.
-
I made a few changes, you were over the soft cap by a few % and while that is good it, the slots can be used else where in your build that would be more beneficial to your over all performance. I moved a few slots around, you have higher recharge, regeneration, recovery, and lower endurance usage.

Quote:I don't think this is going to make a huge increase in blaster survivability, but what this will do is allow players to choose the medicine pool for a self heal along with a third power choice or they can choose the leaping set and pick up some + defense from combat jumping, another travel power in super jump and some hold protection in acrobatics. I will probably choose the later for most of my blasters.http://www.massively.com/tag/Issue-19/
Come issue 19, the Fitness pool is made into inherent powers. I wondered how this change would pertain to Blasters and it seems to me the AT will likely benefit a little more than most other ATs.
It will free three, most likely lightly slotted, power picks. The Fighting pool for Weave requires a similar investment for instance (w/ the right IOs that translates into around +8.5 defense vs. all). The Medicine pool is another excellent fit that is made more available for an AT with few or no defenses or self-heals.
What are your thoughts and what powers are you likely to respec into? -
If you're doing farming I wouldn't aim for the soft cap I'd probably aim for around 35% defense unless you plan on farming at +4.
-
I just thought that I'm going to be adding Assault to my Dark/Shield Scrapper, I should be able to get close to 300dps with Assault.
-
Because they haven't revealed yet that enemies are going to get a huge buff and will negate any wonderful buff that we're given.
-
Quote:OMG I just realized how awesome this is going to be for my blasters. Its going to be so awesomeFixed.
This means that most of my scrappers will get Aid Self + a one slot wonder instead of Fitness... Or maybe Leadership. Dunno, feels great that we'll finally be able to deviate from the standard Leaping/Speed/Fitness/Fighting setup. Sure, it'll still be Leaping/Speed/Fighting for most, but the fourth place can be filled with quite a few different things. -
I thought I'd just throw this out there
Quote:Here's the only catch:
You'll have to respec to take advantage of it on existing characters.
Characters as they exist now, will only get the Inherent Fitness powers if they do not have any of them in their build. Conversely, if you don't you get them as Inherents and never get the option to select them as pool powers. -
What is the concept behind this character?
-
You'd be better off going with Build Up + Aim then Fire Breath > Psychic Scream then running in and launching Fire Ball > Psychic Shockwave and have pretty much annihilated everything.
-
You know all of these awesome power changes have me worried. There is always a trade off for increased power effectiveness. What are the enemies going to be like in the future? Are we going to be fighting hero class enemies every spawn, are they going to have insane debuffs? There is always bad that has to come with good. The piper must be payed some how!
-
Quote:You crazy! This is going to be a huge change for people who take Health and Stamina, this will allow for much greater build flexibility and a huge increase in min/maxing, I already see how this is going to drastically change my dark/shield's build. I'll be able to increase my global recharge by at least 15% over my current build while keeping all of its survivability. The devs may very much understand that this won't be a huge change for people who already take and slot Health and Stamina. It will, however, be a huge change for people who currently don't take Fitness. For those people this is pure, free win. And that might be what the devs are shooting for here.
-
Yeah you'll want to take SM for PvP. You're going to need as much defense as you can get. I'd also take OWtS if you were you.
-
Quote:Well to you're tying one arm behind your back by not having any AAo fuel. If you have a power designed around adding damage by having enemies around you why wouldn't you use that to your advantage? You guys are right about the 300dps. I didn't word what was in my head very well. I do have an anything goes 300dps goal. I also have the other goal, just no preconceived number. I am hoping around 250dps with just my build powers and auto accolades and nothing else.
I hope that clears it up better.
Happy Hunting,
Aaron -
Here is a newish build that I'm thinking about running with inspired by silverado's fire/mm build, it sacrifices about 20% recharge for some mez protection from acrobatics.
