I'm having a real hard time with his costume, I can't even get passed the body slider portion without screaming in frustration at trying to make him as square as possible. I'm going huge body style and very thin

No not at all, I believe the developers are out to lunch when it comes to the in game economy.
-
Rich is relative, I think I am well off but compared to other marketeers I look poor. I know people who have upwards of 10 billion influence.
-
Quote:First off let me commend you on making me hungry after I just ate breakfast with your delicious name. The other point is that most people are lazy and don't want to go through the hassle of selling so they'd rather stay poor and continue to complain like little girls.Poverty is tough!
I'm no Marketeer. I'm a Casual Player.
I don't flip, stack, reflip, steat Inf transfers or use ebil tricks of Market PvP.
I don't use sugar daddy characters, farm the uber-maps or enter costume contests.
I just play the game normally, and sell my drops for a reasonable price at the Market. Usually at less than 2/3rds the average of the Last Five. Except for what's truly Vendor Trash and wouldn't likely sell even if I listed it for negative influence.
I set my characters up with decent Set IO's. Not Purples, and not usually the best non-purple sets either, but good sets.
I run in SG mode at all times.
And yet, I still can't figure out how people can be poor if they just defeat the little pixellated pinatas and gather up the drops that fall into thier inventory. After all this laziness I described above, I still end up with millions when I hit that final ding, and heaven help me, it's worse if I continue playing after that ding, to finish the contact's arc or such.
Poverty eludes me. -

Ahh the irony -
Because by itself shields without inventions, and power pools does not fair as well as other secondaries.

Quote:You can keep it when at 50 and integrate it into your attack chain, but I believe it will cut into your DPS.Just a quick question to any BS/SD Scrappers out there, do you think skipping Parry would be detrimental to my survivability as a scrapper, or, do you think that I could live without it? 3 Stacked it offers some pretty good buffage, but, if I skip it I can pick up Slash, which I skipped, for more damage...
Thoughts? -
I just wanted to take some time to thank everyone here at the scrapper forums for being so nice. It is refreshing to see the wide spread attitude that we are here to help one other with each others characters with minimal negativity. I've been looking around other sections of the archetypes and powers forums and was amazed at the negativity toward other characters for not knowing what is accepted as standard knowledge or difference of play style. In essence I believe that the Scrapper section is the most heroic out of all of the sections, if you will, in that we are here for the greater good and to that is to help others in the nicest best way possible.
Thank you all

I need more recharge and defense in my build!

Hey if you need help with a Mid's build post it up on the scrapper boards, people are much nicer there, provide better constructive criticism, and don't jump down your throat.
-
Jeeze take a chill pill, the guy can do what he wants with his character. It's his money, if he wants to play an empathy contrary to your play style then let him be instead of badgering him.
-
MA/Regen does fit pretty well but I think I might do WP because I already have a regen scrapper.
-
I'd like to make a sponge bob theamed scrapper but I'm not sure what primary/secondary to make him. I was thinking MA because him and sandy are always fighting but secondary? I though willpower but he's a woose.

Quote:Yes it would help and they are hilarious. You stand there yelling at your target and then run in between them and yell up into the air to induce fear. It is probably the funniest looking/sound powers in the game.I'm sure there is a good reason for this but since I don't have any experience with spines/fire or the presence pool, I thought I'd ask. I understand fire armour is pretty squishy short of major IO enhancement. I was wondering if the last two powers in the presence pool, which apparently induce fear, might help with two things. First, I was wondering if they would help with damage mitigation and second I was wondering if they would help retain mobs in a burn patch. Anyone?

Quote:Yes it hasLately I've been on teams with people who are in the late 40's or even 50 levels and just don't know how the hell to play the game. Then you ask them and they are like 'Oh I got the game 4 days ago and farmed AE to get these levels. Also, what's an enhacement?'
Some of them really seem to know how to play and I give them credit for it, but some play so stupidly bad its actually funny.
One team I was on with my 50 tank, the leader and team was so dumb I actually had to stay on the team just to be amused at how stupid some of them really play.
