Just a heads up:
I have several devs reading this thread, and are working on the bugs you guys are finding, and on ways to improve the Mayhem Missions (such as making the end Hero non-random; currently the end Hero you get is totally random, and has nothing to do with anything you did in the mission, we are looking into changing that).

I have a raelly bad bug for you... when I use my gravity powers on LOWLY 5hp Civilians... they don't get crushed into little balls of bloody fleshy goo.
Nor do they burst into screaming flames when my dedicated partner a flame/flame brute attacks or gets near them.
Nor do they collapse into a pile of shattered bones when my singularity lifts them...

I've managed to use BG effectively on my level 33 Robo/Dark
First I would have my bots attack(useing the Aggresive/attack my target bution)
Then use my new Def/Follow Macro and BAM 75% res.
Now some things to remember.
Pets are only capable of doing one thing at a time and have a goldfish memory span. If you have them attacking and then set them into Def mode they will still attack, UNLESS you make them move. Make sure they stay near you or eles they go from "kill" to "follow" and ignore foes untill attacked again.
For the most part I was always able to fight PvE without BG, my bots got all the agro. So I don't think i'll use it to offen. There are times when I CAN NOT get aggo off me, this is where it will come in handy. Even if I can only get one bot to use BG, thats still 1/3% res and much more then I had before.

So far I havein't had issues with the set (11th).
However I do like makeing up powers for no resion...
Ground Self (Click, Self Heal +imobl res, -Recharge +speed)
Not sure what it would replace, but again, I don't need a resion to make up powers. -

This is fairly straightforward. I do wonder if this makes specific Taunt Resistance redundant, but I guess there is room now for people to have Taunt Resistance where appropriate, when they do not otherwise have appropriate DEF.
My major concern is that DEF vs this will be relegated to Super Reflexes, Force Field, Ninjitsu, and Pool powers. For example, no Tanker sets provide Ranged or AoE DEF.
Also does this mean that Taunt (the power, not the effect) is AoE in PvP (5 Target), whereas it wasn't before? Otherwise I couldn't see how AoE works against Taunt the Power, only ranged. This needs clarification.

If I understand this correctly, it means that Challenge still has a % chance to work as well as being able to be defended against. As opposed to Taunt which is 100% chance to work, if it hits.

A bit annoying, my guess is most people won't bother to slot for Accuracy in Taunt, but you never know. It does raise some questions with the next section...

So, instead of being 5-target, Gauntlet is single Target in PvP?
What about Taunt itself?
Instead of Taunting what's hit, AoE powers now have a separate AoE Taunt in PvP that is an all or nothing vs all Targets? This seems wrong. Right now powers like Icicles, Blazing Aura, and Mudpots all Taunt what they hit.
Or, are they trying to say, when an AoE hits a target, it has a chance to Taunt its targets as well?
If so, does the Taunt from an AoE require a separate to-hit roll per target?
Or do AoEs just work like in PvE, what is hit, is Taunted?
How about auto-hit powers like Chilling Embrace, Energy Absorption, and Invincibility? Do these auto-hit and then have a chance to Taunt what they hit? Or do they not Taunt at all?
If you slot an Accuracy into a power like Icicles or Blazing Aura, does it help the Taunt? (presuming the Taunt is a separate attack roll in PvP)

Looking at the Mu numbers...looks like Sharks do more damage, cost less end, rechage faster. but Mu has better secondary effects.

Well from what i've seen here, and i've been here a long time(4-5 years I think). The Issue is you've set up unrealistic expectations of customizability in this game.
Look at the character creater in this game.
Some might say there are only five classes in this game. The AT's. However a Dark Defender is far diffrent from a Force Field Defender. The differences between a Fire Tank and an Ice Tank are more then cosmetic. Looking at it this way there are several dozen 'classes' in this game.
But this is only the start of it.
Costumes...well...what can I say that hasin't been said... CoX wins this one hands down.
Your character in this game is so unique. I've played a few other MMOs in my time and NONE come close to this. When I play other games I look and act the same as every one else of my class and it stays that way for the rest of my characters life.
Not so here.
As if this wasin't enough. We have the epic powers in this game. Makeing it hard to find someone with the same powers you have at the highest levels.
Now the downside to all this crazy uniqeness is that we want MORE of it. We what the ability to join Lord Recluse, AND the power to pick an Ancillary pool(best if we could get both at the same time).
You will run into the same issue if/when you let us change our animations, effects, and colors. Yes could be some issues with people in PvP unable to tell what their opponent is doing. Personaly I think this is ok, a little more randomness in combat makes it more interesting.
But you've set the standerd. People expect everything you do to have the flexiblity to fit their imaginations like the Costume Creater.
And now I await the day when I can have a beast claw/Regen hunched over Wolf-man and turn regen into glowing red rings emiting from my eyes. -

Just so i'm clear...
Empowerment stations give a 15 min buff for the price of some peices of salvage.
The buffs are realy specific
so it might be 2 e-chips + 3 Clockwork engines = +20% Smashing res
They have a smaller cost then most items(sounds like 4-5k)
They run on their own power(don't cost any power and maybe no control)
They arn't the invention system. That will come later.
I miss anything? -
IF they add a way to get Isolator then i say they add and extra badge so people know you did the uber hard way, not just the kill 100 in the Tut.

He is not currently unlockable.
There is no badge for time spent (or time doing ANYTHING) in Pocket D.

As i understand it all of those powers that made AoE Heals/buffs around you/the target create a temp pet.
for example the Dark heal. It lowers Dmg and Acc(i think) and then creates a oneshot heal aura around you. In code terms it debuffs them, then summons an invisible pet that shoots a heal out before dissapearing.
thats(as far as i know) how the Kinetic heal,power buff, ubber power buff, and the Dark Heal power work. -

It's pretty much what other posters already suggested. Many effects in the game are actually temporary pets (Blizzard, Fulcrum Shift, Caltrops, Burn, Ice Patch, etc). Since they are distinct entities, they are spawned fresh and buffless. This change allows the designers specify that a pet should get copies of buffs on the creator (Damage and To-Hit inspirations, Power Boost, Build Up/Aim, Accelerate Metabolism, Fulcrum Shift, etc). So yes, you could potentially Power Boost an Ice Storm, and having Fortitude could increase your Burn damage.
