"Dimensional Disturbance in <zone>!" A Portal (Mega-sized object, no direct attacks, summons spawns, has lots of HP) is placed on the map. Normal spawns within X distance are replaced by Preatorian Critters.
If they did it in the same way they did the old Council vs Column "event," that would work very well. Just use Warworks/Clocks/IDF vs Longbow (or Arachnos for the Isles).
  2. I like the designs for the most part, but I'm really not digging the faces. In particular, the mouths.

    They're just... no.
  3. Hit 43 the other day on my Elec/Elec Dom. Having an absolute blast playing it. I think Elec is now my favorite control set.
  4. Sounds like what we've seen of the Interface Incarnate powers.

APPs are not available to Kheldians.

Minor fix. There's 1 cape and 2 auras for every Origin.
  9. Just thought over these auras as well as how a lot of the older auras got revamped.

So... Atomic Aura, combat activated on fists?

If that can be done, I am SO there. I mean, I'll be buying this pack anyway, but if that particular version can be done... wow.

    Awesome.

EDIT: And FPARN and Red Name Sandwich!

I very highly doubt that. If my doubt was any higher, I'd have to register it with the FAA as a flight hazard.

As has been pointed out by others, we've already had 5 boosters specifically geared toward each Origin, but none of them were limited to only being used by their specified Origin. Any and all could use those parts.

I fully believe this will be the case for this pack as well.

Guess im just one of those people that watch the old superman movies and think that the costum looks horrid on screen. Cant please everyone i guess.
Personally, I understand that they either can't or won't make things look exactly how they do in the comics. Some things just don't translate well from paper to screen.

But that doesn't mean this looks good. Nor does it mean that the one from the comics would look good either.

It means, simply, this lantern? Is ugly.
  16. Joining the "It's kinda ugly" bandwagon.

It's a good shape, but all the extraneous details bog it down. This is a case where "less is more" would've been better, I think. Just smooth it down, give it a more metal look rather than what looks like smoky plexiglass with a green light inside.

Conveniently, they do. Provided Aim and Build Up are used, of course.

If energy did more damage than fire the knock back would not be an issue IMO well at least for me ..
So if Energy was turned into the most damaging blast set, it'd be okay? What of Fire then? Energy's secondary effect is Knock. Fire's is more damage. By making Energy not only the KB set but also the Damage set, you've invalidated Fire's purpose. What do you propose to do with Fire?

    No aoe & No damage
Energy has as much AoE ability as other blast sets. It also has equivalent damage potential to them. It is not lacking in either respect.

Though yeah, Mighty Endowed showing up would be good too.
  19. Still slightly peeved that it's not really Young Justice. Oh well, still looks pretty interesting and I'm somewhat looking forward to it.

In comics an anime, guys who use some sort of enrgy blast do major damage an if they knock a guy thru a wall or building the guy is hurt .
This does not translate well in CoX . I have made a lot of toons in this game an i would like to stop skipping enrgy blast . now some exceptional players have been abble to pimp this set out on blasters an those of you that have i think you are awsome ! but for the ones like me who just cant deal with a sub par set but like the concept . HELP! You can count the engergy / corruptors on one hand, an i dont even know if defenders even have enrgy blast as i have NEVER seen one and ive played this game for 4 years lol.
Energy is only "subpar" when compared to outlier sets like Fire. As it is, Energy Blast is exactly where it should be: right in the middle of the pack.

Energy has decent AoE and decent ST. It's not bad in either of those. It also has some of the best (though highly underrated) mitigation available in a blast set.

    This.

We've already seen leaks of various "Interface" boosters that are nothing like the Alphas we've seen.

In either case, I look forward to being able to maek stuff.
