    I see.

So not only should team-makers bend over backwards to accommodate you, the Devs should scrap any ideas they have for Incarnate content to accommodate you as well?
  4. OK, better question: Who did NOT think it meant Benny Hill?

Yeah he has the tendency to go way over the top, hide the feet and can´t keep deadlines... so what?
He´s still one of my favourite Comic Artists, and gave us two of Marvel´s most iconic 90´s Heroes: Cable & Deadpool.
I mean all that hate and ****... does that give you something or what?
Can you draw better than Rob? If yes, why is he succesfully drawing and publishing comics and you not? If not, cool your engines, stop criticising (<- that word looks wrong, is it?) and try to actually become better than him.
And finally, maybe you should have a look at This.

    Red, out!
Because he's, quite frankly, a ******. He's had a major influence on comics and he's had general ideas in regards to characters that have gone on to become much better than their inception would've indicated, but otherwise he's quite obnoxious, a touch unprofessional, and, in general, not really a people person.

I don't really hate him so much as have disdain for him.

How about instead people just unslot the rare they have and run it like normal?
And this is stopping you from making your own teams...?

When you depend on others to make your teams for you, well, you get what you're given.

I agree that it's bad. But there's a difference between saying the bug is a very bad thing and saying 19.5 is a very bad thing.

Just for clarity's sake, if 19.5 was released without the crash bug, would you still be agreeing with Remus?
  12. It was funny.

And then it hit beacuase and became hilarious.

    This.

As a team of Spiderman hunters/whatevers? Not that bad.
    As an individual? No.
    As Venom? LOLNO.

And I don't even really like Venom.

That aside, the top half of the costume's not bad. It's taking the general design and armoring it up a little. The bottom half though is stupid.
  14. The CoH manual was in need of an update at Launch. By now, I think just "updating" is a lost cause.
Entirely remaking it would be good, but would also suffer from the same thing the original does: it's subject to turning obsolete due to any change made.
  15. Hm... the more I look at the set, the more I'm not sure what it's supposed to be. In any case, a couple of bothersome points:

+10 Repel on Repulsion Sphere. That's the same size as Force Bubble. Pretty big. Maybe reduce a bit to just +5? Also, a bubble that big easily makes this sound ripe for griefability.

Rech on EM Burst is too short. Its Earth Control analogue, Stalagmites, has a 90s Rech. Either case though, at 45s Rech, the duration (for Controllers at least) makes it perma with just SOs.

The END Cost and Rech on Bombardment seem really high. They're even higher than the closest similar power, Oil Slick Arrow, despite having a shorter duration and doing less damage.

Star Driver is what you get when you take a Mecha show and try to cram every Magical Girl trope into it.

And it's AWESO- FABULOUS because of it.

    Gotham High

Hm... considering the "Batman!... in High School!" approach was already toyed about and ended up giving us Batman Beyond, I'm honestly okay with this particular iteration not being made.

It just seems like it's trying too hard.
  18. Alright, close the forums. This thread wins them all.

Be that as it may, it still doesn't make Kid X a cool name. In fact, that kinda makes it even worse since not only is it uncool, but also being shill.

Well, at least it's not X Jr.

Because they're being written by people who want to bring back "their" versions of characters and wallow in nostalgia despite ruining the characterizations of countless perfectly good characters?

But yeah, so agreed. Impulse is sooo a better name than Kid Flash. Sorry, but Kid X will never be as cool as just X.

    Buh?

Impulse's solo title, under Waid, was already getting a lot of character development. It wasn't until later in the series that the writers kinda forgot all that. And that was before/during Young Justice's run. But PAD did give Bart a LOT of character development, especially in those last few issues of YJ, I'll agree with that.

And yeah, it's still painful at how he and the rest of YJ got screwed over in the transition to Teen Titans. That was just... no. Bad idea with bad execution.

IMO, Dura, you should be somewhat relieved that Cissie, Traya, Anya and the others haven't shown up more often. At this rate, the only thing they'd have to look forward to is horrible characterizations.

Is the endurance drain faster than I'm imagining it to be?
    Yes, Sapping is very survivable.

But more to the point, as a Dominator, you also have an entire powerset devoted to controlling your foes thus reducing their ability to damage you.

  24. Somehow, I get the feeling this is a case of one half of the conversation talking about one thing while the other half is thinking something completely different all the while both think the other knows what they mean.

I don't believe luck should play such a large roll in personal rewards for conducting an operation, its like you are saying, work this week, then you got unlucky; so you are "not" getting a paycheck this week, you see its random, but eventually you are going to get a double check, and it will work out in the long run, but go on working today and tomorrow, really, its gonna work out...
Except that for the "work" we do, we are getting paid. In XP and/or INF.

Loot (Shards, Salvage, Recipes, etc) are bonuses on top of what we already get.

To extend the analogy, it's like you are saying, work this week and there might be donuts in the break room. There might not, but sometimes there are.

    Quote:
And even though that allegedly all have the same chance to get an award, thus its fair an equal; is not really quite right. How many times in paper we go "it should work" and in reality we get a catastrophe?
Beats me. How many times? How many times do we get stupendously awesome results too?

    Quote:
I don't believe it "eventually" working out, if ever, in a few weeks is proof the randomness is working right.
Then, if I may be so bold, perhaps you should provide your own evidence. Run a month long trial to test out the RNG.

If one can not have an even distribution reached randomly in a reasonable amount of time, then truthfully the random generator is broken.
So... wait. Because it's not predictable, the random number generator is broken?
