Quote:The visor isn't quite a Sport piece, but it does appear when Sport is chosen from the pre-made costume list. But, the sport set looks nice (is the visor a part of it?) and so does the rest. Definitely picking up the Alpha and Omega set too.
It's called Scanner in the Head Detail 1 group. -

What's in the Complete Collection Item Pack?
The Complete Collection Item Pack is included as part of the City of Heroes Going Rogue: Complete Collection, with both digital and boxed versions (available in North America only). It will also be available as a separate digital purchase. The Item Pack includes:
Alpha and Omega themed costumed sets
Alpha and Omega themed auras
Four stance emotes
The Shadowy Presence invisibility power -
Quote:No.Well to be accurate he has most of it. The pre-purchase will be missing some of the perks, but he can buy the missing goodies in the GR perk/booster pack they'll start selling on the 17th.
She has Going Rogue. Period. This is not a "most of" thing, it's an "either or." You can either have Going Rogue or not have it. She has it.
You are correct in that she doesn't have the Complete Collection items, but she has Going Rogue. As such, she does not have to go out on Tuesday to go buy it. She can if she wants to in order to get the CCItems, but she does not have to. -
Quote:You must have pre-purchased, since:Wait, is it possible I pre purchased the game digitally thru NCsoft? Cause if I did that I dont want to be rushing out this Tuesday (Which I have off BTW) and buying it again. lol
1) Pre-orders are only between you and the retailer you pre-ordered with. It would not show up on your NC account.
and
2) Pre-ordering doesn't give you anything (except for POing at Gamestop which'll give you some not-quite-IOs on the 17th).
So yup. You don't have to run out on Tuesday to go buy GR. You already have it. -
Is this on a Live server or on the Beta server?
As for if you did pre-purchase (note: NOT pre-order), you can always check your Account Management with NCsoft.
If you truly did not pre-purchase and are on a Live server, there's a problem. -

Quote:Nothing in PGA is summoned up by a pseudo-pet. It's a straight up AoE -DMG, Sleep power. You are right. The debuff is is what I am thinking is summoned by a pet. I assumed the sleep was too. Thanks for clearing that up.
It does have some code remnant in it that says it summons up a pet, but the pet does nothing. This is probably leftovers from when, in beta, it acted as a location AoE.
Originally, Glue Arrow, Poison Gas Arrow, Disruption Arrow and Oil Slick Arrow were all location AoEs. Having so many was deemed a bit of a hassle to work with so Glue and Poison lost the location ability.
EDIT: Actually, I think the pseudo-pet in PGA does summon something after all: The lingering gas cloud graphics. I can't remember if they finally removed that or not since it doesn't linger. :S -

Quote:As far as I know, OSBurn still maintains the Avoid for the NPCs. It's not exactly Fear, but they will try to get out of the burn patch.Side note, I wonder now with Burn and Oil Slick not having any +fear, why Ignite still has to have it...
EDIT: Also, I don't think OSBurn ever had Fear. It's always been Avoid. It's a relatively minor quibble to note, but important when it comes to effects. -
Quote:Yeah, but actually look at Jason. No bruising. No blood on him. What movie were you watching when that guy's head ended up......... all over that wall? :P
Even Jason was surrounded by blood at the start (though hard to see).
Joker later on? No bruising. No blood.
None of the really violent parts (such as that assassin you mention) were shown, but were done partially offscreen. And the fightings/beatings that are shown, there's no damage really displayed.
EDIT: Just rewatched the opening. There's a very minor bit of bruising and a cut lip. Not a whole lot for all that beating. -

Saw.
It's pretty good. Better than I had been expecting. Some characterizations and voices were a little off, but for the most part it was quite enjoyable.
Heh, and I don't even particularly like Jason. -
Quote:The trick is to catch the first two spawns running in, and then go and start defeating them at their spawn points before they start running to the henge. Start from the right side and work your way left.I stand corrected. I guess I just get mad at it when I have no way at all of keeping the mobs focussed on me in that one.
You should be able to either defeat them all as they wait around or catch them as they're running toward but still far away enough from the henge to prevent them from making it. -
Quote:Most of what the Devs have been giving us recently (Power Customization, body modding, side switching) have all been in the "Can't do at this time/Would take a long time to do/Not right now" category.Have the devs stated one way or another if this is a possibility, or if it will never, ever happen? With Going Rogue, you can now switch alignments, and the powerset proliferations have really expanded over the years. The Science booster even allows you to change body type (which, once upon a time, was a "will never happen" thing). This seems like the next step.
AT/Power Set Respecs get put into their "We do not want this" category. -
We could always just hire them so they can make some Meet the... vids for our ATs.

Because Defenders don't get access to Boost Range.

Looks like it's the same gang that was doing this one a while back.

Quote:Hm, I'd like to say thanks for this link as well.www.pipl.com was linked on the WoW boards. Scary stuff. It has my new cell phone number who very few people have, as well as my entire family, and tons of other scary info, all from just my first and last name. Satellite photos of me working in backyard last summer. I'm freaked.
EDIT: Lordy. I hadn't seen you can search by screen name too. Thankfully my screen name is a little more unique, and none of the stuff that did actually connect with me was interesting at least.
Only popped up once with my name and one hit on my old inactive ebay account name. Good to see my efforts to remain rather anon have been somewhat fruitful. -

Quote:Get familiar with trains if you can. You're gonna ride a lot of 'em in Japan. And walk a lot.nice that would explain it, since im unfamiliar with trains travel (i walk, or car/truck) so i have little xp with trains
Walking and trains are so very Japanese. You can get a taxi, but those are sooooo effing expensive. -
Quote:Because it's for UNLIMITED travel on the vast majority of the JR network. You can ride shinkansens from one end of the country to the other nonstop for all 21 days if you wanted with that pass and wouldn't pay a dime over the initial fee.thanks for all the help so far btw why do Japan Rail Pass cost so much for? is it because they are fast you could get from say the bottom of japan to the top of japan in a few hours?
this is for 21 days
Ordinary: 57,700YEN/645.4841usd
Green: 79,600YEN/890.4772usd
i guess if you travel a lot maybe use this? i will most likely use the 7 day pass or the 14 day pass
Just remember that the timer on it starts when you first redeem it. The very first time you use it, you're "on the clock" and it'll expire 21/14/7 days after.
As for the difference between Ordinary and Green, I don't think there's much of a point. The Green cars are supposed to be nicer or something, but since all of Japan's trains are pretty nice, Ordinary is just as good, IMO.
