I'd like to support a couple of things already mentioned: For first aid, having the choice of the regular med device or an amiguous particle effect that could be easily defined as mutant energy, magic, whatever --- would be great.

For Fire Swords and Stone Melee, having something different would be great, even if it was just no weaponry, but some cool particle effects instead.

Once, on the test server (not band camp), a patch caused my dual sword scrapper to lose all his swords. Not that animations though. But with just the spikey gloves that I had on that character, the animations looked just fine. I was kinda sad when a couple of patches later, it got fixed.

Toning down superspeed and hasten would probably be nice.

I mapservered on the successful BaF, just before they went down, finally. D'oh!

Too bad about the Lambada....at least the other team whupped him!

I think it's bad design.

If the intent is code giveaways for the broad range of serious CoX fan.

Trying to get a few items on the Cyber Monday sale. I get the "We're sorry, but we are unable to accept your order at this time. Please try again later or tomorrow. If you continue to have problems, you may wish to visit one of our retail partners" message as well. Not bought anything recently. Guess I won't buy anything now either. Not a great issue to have on the day of your sale.

I've had a sound beef for forever: Or at least since the Drum and Drumlow emotes came in. They are looped in such a way that the two are completely out of sync with one another. Not syncopated, completely out of joint! Getting a Drum sound that is rhythmically related to DrumLow (which probably needs to stay because of the more definite animation connection), would really help and shouldn't be that hard to do.

This is certainly a 'Wake them up to fix it' issue, given that it's hitting right at the time when they are going to seriously need it. They were talking up the server transfers, and the new pack has the extra slots, all of which are down. I know I can't make any new Praetorians on any of the servers I actually play on, and given the rampant altitis here, that probably goes for a lot of folks.

Alternates for the Fire Sword attacks (and maybe the Ice sword, though it does not irritate me as much). Fire Sword looks great for my djinn character, and awful on most every other fire based alt I have. Firey open hand attacks, firey whips, something....

At around the $200 price point, one of the Nvidia GTX460s is the best bet, imo. The next step up is to the Nvidia 470 or the ATI 5850, both of which have started to have some price drops. The 470 is louder and takes more power. The 5850 has been overpriced, but is finally moving back down towards its original release price of $250. The 460 runs about 8-1/2 inches long, and is the shortest of the three. If I was doing a 460, I would go for the version with 1GB of memory, as opposed to the 768MB version, but local prices might change that decision. The 1GB version goes for about $220 or so around here, the 768mb one, goes for under $200.

You will be astounded by the difference from your 8400GS, no matter what you choose.

The only other caveats are the size of your power supply (in watts, strength on rail,etc) and the monitor and resolution you are playing at. Those could change the equation or even require an upgrade as well.

I appreciate the rant of the OP. It's bad when the visual concept goes south.

Funny thing is, I would pay good money to get rid of the quills effect. Hated it, and have only one spines alt, a Spines/Dark, so I could use the dark stealth to get rid of quills and the banana spines.

This is why BABs is damned if does/damned if he doesn't.....

Hangs for me as well, on Vmusic7.pigg. Same error message. Checksum deletion did not work.

This question is, unfortunately, legitimate as there was a period of time on the test server when i16 bug reports were not working.

While I don't begrudge the folks who like humorous stories their fun, I am not that enthused with broad parody and nudge*nudge-wink*wink designs. Can't say that LolBat is going to draw me to a Misson Architect storyline.

Though I would be on a Foglio authored MA set up instantly....

Yeah, I am sure that this was just the easiest method they could use to get it done quickly. Especially given that it was not originally set up that way.

Now the lack of foresight to realize that most of your testing material would be evident to all.....that took time. ;-}

So, some of those Demons and Warwolves WERE Rikti spies!

When we were having trouble at my house with CoH, it turned out to be three different things locally. There was a problem with the house cable connection, the router was slowly going on the fritz, and I needed a wireless booster. Took months to sort out all the causes.

Now, I mostly have just general internet flakeage, and some glitches when evil 'Tivo Lite' is recording shows.

Last night, while on to do some enhancing, I ended up on a team battling some of the AVs in arcs on PI. Went up against Infernal, Chimera and Shadowhunter. At the end of two of the missions I got the notice:

"Vanguard Merits awarded"

Now none of these have anything resembling Rikti in them, and unless some of the demons or Warwolves were spies, then something is up.

Could be message is wrong, as I didn't check the actual merit count til after the second instance, and did not do any other missions after that. Checked to see if this was mentioned anywhere else on the forum, but no mention.

Anyone else seen this?

Was on a team where they managed to port some Ouro-portals. They have some weird interactivity as well with other Tports on occaision.
