In game petitions work, in game bugs do not
Bug reports are not supposed to generate a reply email or a listing in the knowledge base space. Sometimes it does, and I have no idea why. Bug reports don't require replies because they are supposed to be sent along different means automatically to a different set of GMs.

I hear ya. I logged 2 bugs in game yesterday and there's no indication that they're logged. It would be nice if it worked the same way every time.
However the bug report I put through the website was submitted properly and not only did I get an email notification but I also got a response with the template "thank you, it has been forwarded, post on the forums, they read those" 30 minutes after I put in the bug report through the website.
Maybe just luck but how do we tell if they've actually received our in game bug reports?

I logged bug reports on Monday evening and their email notices showed up on Wednesday so there may just delay of some sort. I sent a petition in at the same time and got an email the same day.

This question is, unfortunately, legitimate as there was a period of time on the test server when i16 bug reports were not working.

I logged a petition and I got a response pretty quickly that it was being passed along to a senior representative. I expect this.
However I logged 2 bug reports in game and got no email. I did get the "Bug logged. Thanks!" text though.
So I just verified from support.cityofheroes.com and saw that my petition was listed but my bug reports were not.
So I submitted a bug report from the website and there it was. And I got an email right away for it.
So just a heads up that my bug reports are not working from in game and you may want to check your own in case you've filed any bugs in game.
