I ran one once with my Fire/Empathy Controller and got a clone with Street Justice/Invulnerability a couple weeks before Street Justice was released to the public. I spent most of the time watching it fight for me while I healed it so it could keep doing the awesome animations.

I'd like to see the old tights fixed in regards to coloring them white. Instead of it looking transparent, can we make it actually a proper white?

Also I'd like to have the option of using tights patterns on 'Tops With Skin' options. If there's some way to have the patterns overlay only on the cloth and not the skin. This way we could put patterns on t-shirts or V-necks [this in particular would give us the opportunity to make good use of the tops with skin for what Sapphic Neko was requesting for zipped down tights].

I figured it might be as such. Was just curious if there was a way around it set up like Microsoft has.

Well see Microsoft games such as Halo are under a thing called simply Microsoft Game Content Usage Rules that state as long as you abide by certain guidelines [basically just copy/pasting a bit of text stating and linking the usage rules] you're allowed to use game footage, music, etc. in your content. I was curious if CoH might have anything similar.

I got some game capture software for Christmas and was hoping to use it to record City of Heroes gameplay footage to upload to YouTube. I was curious if there were any rules/guidelines/agreements/whatever in regards to setting the videos up for revenue sharing.

YouTube requires that you either explicitly own everything in the video, or have permission to use content in the video in order to set it up for revenue sharing.

Just took a look at the pieces in the tailor to see if some of the bugs were at least worked out.

The hair bows for females are still showing up as transparent in the tailor. Which really screws with them since only the veil part is supposed to be transparent. I don't think I'm supposed to see the cow skull through the bow from a 3/4 angle.

Did the devs listen to anything about the pack? Isn't the whole point of putting it on Beta first to get player feedback and fix what's wrong with it? You didn't even fix the bugs before sending it live.

I really am disappointed. Kierthos summed it up well. I can look past the gender inequality and pretinting, but when the devs so clearly ignore the whole reason for beta testing a costume set in the first place it really gives a person doubts.

I'm a completionist. I don't like seeing that lock symbol in my tailor screen. I want all the costume pieces in the game. I even went and bought the Pilgrim hat without any plan to use it. But the feedback was apparently completely ignored by the developers on this, and that really turns me away from it. I think I can live with passing on this set until a sale or it's fixed.

My GameStop still sells timecards.

There was a survey back around Issue 11 or 12 that foretold of the Mission Architect and Going Rogue. Pretty sure that was the last "fan opinion" poll/survey/whathaveyou they sent out.

I remade my Kin/Archery Defender 'Acolyte Naomi' (My best attempt at remaking the Ouroboros uniform) into a Time/Beam Defender. Fits her so much better now I think.

I was under the impression that we would get all our tokens in advance if we purchased more than a month of game time. I went and bought a year subscription in hopes of getting the 12 Reward Tokens but upon logging in the game told me I had 0 unspent tokens and I'm still where I was yesterday in the tiers. Was I wrong about getting them upon purchase?

Kalinda is no longer a starting contact, so she's no longer there to give you the cape/aura missions, hence why you lost the mission. You just need to talk to the new cape/aura contact and take care of it.

Am I the only one who sees the irony in excluding Rhode Island? I think that itself is facepalm worthy.

I've done a few power customizations myself.

Day 1 of Issue 16 I created Dust Walker, a Storm Summoning/Dark Blast Defender whose powers were colored to sand. I've since then seen many other sand characters running around but that comes as no real surprise. (Though it did come as a surprise when a couple of them mentioned to me that Dust Walker was actually their inspiration. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside ^.^)

I also more recently made a character named Water Skimmer. Gravity Control/Psionic Assault Dominator with powers colored as, obviously, water. The addition of the alternate animations for blast powers helps to prevent a 'shooting water from the forehead' animation with Psi assault, and the Grav powers work perfectly especially Lift.

Spirit Kat is a Kin/Dark Stalker with her powers colored gray. Her powers are air manipulation as well as the ability to literally dissolve her body into thin air (Hide) The Dark Armor powers help to give the illusion that she's only partially dissolved herself.

So the patcher wasn't connecting to NCSoft for me. I think an error a lot of people were having. Except mine never fixed itself. So I go and try to reinstall it. I uninstall the program, go to reinstall it, get an error that it can't install to a folder if there's still stuff in it. Go and try to delete the stuff in the folder and it gives me an error saying I need permission to delete it. So I can't delete the stuff to clean the folder to reinstall the stuff. I decide to try installing it to a new folder and get this error message:

What is going on and why can I get nothing to work?


Edit: I managed to get it to install but I'm still having the connection issue. Has anyone figured out a way to get it to work? It fails to connect during the Launcher update step.

My patcher hasn't been able to connect all day. How did you guys get it to work?

I have 6 slots to redeem but since I only have 1 unfilled/unlocked slot on my home server I really don't have any way of knowing what's going on.

I'll get in on this. Though I'm sure many catgirls will be entered I might as well try for mine.

Snow Panther

Not gonna lie. I would actually rather like to see some new Freakshow group using Rikti weapons. That would just look awesome I think. Similar to the sonic Freakshow from the one TF (Sister Psyche I think?)

My Will/Fire Tank that can stand against Reichsman no trouble at all, even without any buffs. I see Secondary Mutation dropped, so I click it (mainly hoping for the Recharge buff one) and POOF! I go from invincible tank that Reichsman can't touch to measly little monkey that he just backhands and kills.

I hit my self-rez... back into monkey. Learned the hard way that just cause you die doesn't mean you lose the monkey on your back.

Thanks to a friend who is very talented in the works of photoshop I've already been able to get ideas of Live Action film versions of some of my characters.
